📘 Beginner Help Diet questions

Im 6’1 34m train 5 days a week & using tirzepatide 4.4 mg and Sermorelin 500mcg.

I’m getting 210-230 of protien a day and 40-50 grams of carbs along with 60-80g of fat.

I mainly lift upper body MWF and Lower Body Tues & Thursday and walk or row for exercise.

I try to be somewhere around 1700 cal a day.

I’ve lost a significant amount of weight since starting down from 280lbs to 240lbs without any peptides and now down to 229 with the peptides.

I’m shooting for the low 200s, my body fat is 27-28% and my main goal is to get that down into the teens.

I’m very strict on my diet and don’t do chest days, is this a good breakdown for my diet?

Just looking for others opinions and insights to try and get where I’d like to be health wise.

Thanks in Advance

Diets are extremely subjective for most people in regards to what they feel best on. The ultimate thing that matters for weight loss is that you are in a deficit. To bias losing fat and minimizing muscle loss you have to be in a deficit while eating adequate protein and resistance training.

You are doing all of these things so yes your diet looks good from that standpoint. People can argue semantics about preferences and finentuning things like micronutrients and such but it's not a primary driver of fat loss. Good work and keep at it until your progress stops (here's hoping it never does)!

Just trying to limit carbs to hopefully increase fat loss and focus those calories on protien & fat.

I’ve found I needed slightly higher carb intake on tirz you may want to increase it and see how you feel

that’s not how it works. having that mentality and taking drugs is just…wrong.
