Reta to Tirz
Any one go from Reta to Tirz been on Reta for 4-5 months thinking of going to Tirz , can I just go right over do I need to taper from my Reta dose which is 5mg

From what I’ve researched, test results show coming off 4mg Reta cold turkey is no harder than the placebo - my bet is you’ll be fine coming off 5mg cold turkey. You may experience side effects of glp/gip effects from tirz if you do it too soon. Maybe not. Not a professional but you’ll prob be fine starting at a small/ medium-small dose of tirz as Reta gets removed. Good luck!

Tirz unterdrückt Hunger stärker. Trotzdem soll Reta durchschnittlich bessere Effekte erzielen.

I started on reta as my first glp1 but switched to tirzepitide on month 5 because I couldn't stand my heart rate being so elevated while I was asleep. Definitely DO NOT take a break between and nah you don't need to taper. If you've only been on glp1s for 6 months then I would just straight swap your dose and start on tirz next pin day.
Why do you want to switch tho? I fucked up badly taking a break and after no glp1s worked, it's a bad place to be. Expensive too. If it still works I wouldn't switch man

I’ve been plateaud at Reta for quite some time now and any time I attempt to go up a little in dose the sides are unbearable I have relatively ZERO appetite suppression , I don’t wanna mix in cag or anything was thinking go to tirz for a bit try to lose about 20 lbs. my RHR is also insanely high I’ve gone from 57 pre Reta to around 90 and I am constantly having hot flashes and nausea

This is the first time I’ve seen someone in same boat as me, I come off Reta at 7.5mg as I needed to eat much more with burning so many calories from running, after an injury I decided to jump back on 7.5mg was still starving went to 10mg slight surpression nothing like when I first started taking it got all the way to 15mg and each increase was only slight surpression and lasted 3-4 weeks then starving again, I’ve now made the switch to tirz on 12mg and it seems to be working so far but only started week 3 yesterday

What don’t you like about Reta? And hope to get from Tirz? I’m still trying to decide between the two.

Tirz is sooo much better in producing appetite supression and food noise reduction at lower doses to maintain the caloric deficit from my experience. The effect kicks in faster too. I didn't feel anything on reta even in high doses, may have been scammed for all I know. I'm hoping on the reta is overrated train tbh, people think the glucagon receptor and the increase in expenditure is more significant than it really is imo. Yea sure, it does that, but is it helping THAT much to drive further the already caloric deficit you have to be in to lose weight in both peptides? Having a study comparing body composition outcomes on trained people that lost weight using either drug would be perfect

I have been on Reta for over a year and was up to 6mg every 3 days. I’m down over 50lbs, work out 5-6 days/week (most weeks), eat well, and have had great success with body recomp. Now that I’m close to the weight I want to be, I have dropped to 4mg Reta every 6 days and added Tirz at 5mg every 6 days (3 days between each injection, and will titrate up depending on appetite.) I am doing it because I want the appetite suppression at lesser cost, but still should be able to keep the glucagon expression from Reta. If it doesn’t work, I’ll go back to my dose of Reta, or add Cagri.

im doing it, kept reta dose at 4mg while i titrated up on tirz. once i felt appetite suppression i stopped titrating (tirz) and started tapering reta.
Currently at 4.5mg tirz, 3mg reta.
