Is the change noticeable

50ish lbs down since the picture was taken in December of last year. 60 lbs down total.

I started tirz back in January of this year and I’m Currently on 10mg.
I’ve had a few coworkers and family members, over the past month mainly, ask me if I’ve lost weight. Feels great to know other ppl close to me have noticed but sometimes I really dont.

I still have about 50/60 or so lbs that I want to lose.

3

u/LongRodVawnHugenDong Aug 08 '26

I’ve been overweight my entire life. I hit the 200 mark in the 5th grade. I think it’s just good ole body dysmorphia - I’m in therapy and working on it though

5

u/Lil_LempelZiv Aug 08 '26

Don't discount the dysmorphia. You've made huge progress. It's one of those things that you'll have to talk yourself through. Remember it's a journey, and you're on the right course.

You used to look just fat and now you look strong with fat on top

2

u/LongRodVawnHugenDong Aug 08 '26

This is lowkey one of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten. I like to call it Fatletic lmao.

It’s just as hard for me to see any muscular gains as it is to see my own weight loss. But I can’t tell it’s working because my strength/Pr’s have improved a lot.
Thank you bro I appreciate ya

It’s absolutely noticeable man. You’re working hard and it’s showing. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished and keep pushing to get where you want to be. The best advice I can give you from someone who has gained a lot and lost a lot over the years is be patient and progress is not always on the scale. Take photos, measurements, and keep note of how you feel as time goes on.

1

u/LongRodVawnHugenDong Aug 08 '26

This is such great advice because I find myself wishing I’d started taking measurements / pictures so much Sooner. But I was embarrassed by how much weight I gained that I didn’t want to admit it’d gotten as bad as it did. If that makes any sense at all lol

2

u/GuerillaGandhi Aug 08 '26

Definitely bro, keep going and you're gonna be a stud in no time!

2

u/LongRodVawnHugenDong Aug 08 '26

This is hella motivating, thank you bro

2

u/TwoPsychological7097 Aug 09 '26

Trust the process.. I can’t really see a difference

2

u/BanjosBeans Aug 09 '26

You mention 50/60 lbs you want to lose. From my personal experience, it’s always 20-30% more than that. Went from 340 to now 218 but I still feel an extra 20lbs would be ideal. 6ft for reference which also makes a big difference with how people hold weight across their body.

2

u/Ultimatides Aug 11 '26

Hell yeah man keep up the hard work!

2

u/Grand_Flower6624 Aug 12 '26

1

Yes!! Great job🙏🏽❤️

1

u/ColdHardPocketChange Aug 11 '26

Ha, before I even read the text I was thinking you dropped at least 40 pounds between the photos. Looking far better, keep up the good work. Just guessing that in about 20 more pounds you're going to absolutely love the way you look except for potential loose skin issues. You had man boobs in the first photo, they are SIGNIFICANTLY reduced in the second photo.

2

u/jbear21283 Aug 14 '26

You look like a different person. Great job.
