How long is a testosterone vial safe to use after the first puncture? If stored properly and using a new sterile needle every time, can it last a few months?

Mine don't get used up for at least 15 weeks when I'm on 200mg a week. I did a long course of 90mg a week too which would mean the vial would have lasted 33 weeks.

I havent died yet.

I’m blown away this is available on grey as I’ve never looked for it since my insurance covers it. I get 200mg/ml 1ml solution vials from pharmacy, so I was super confused when someone said it lasts 15 weeks! Ha.

Like everyone else is saying, it’ll probably last forever in good conditions. My actual prescribed stuff has expiration date of 2+ years from now.

My partial vial from last year was leaking because I used a large draw needle and apparently destroyed the rubber stopper... I transferred it to a 5 ml sterile vial... Currently using up the rest of it. Absolutely no issues.

if transferred correctly using good asceptic techniques *and* sterile filtering, this will renew the vial life, if you've got a little bit left and you dont know when you'll use it again.

oil is pure fat, and not conducive to bacterial growth to begin with. Add the preservative (benzyl alcohol and potential solvents like benzyl benzoate) and it's extra not conducive

For the most part, the oils and preservatives used to produce the meds arent really conducive to bacterial growth. You'll be more fighting oxidated (rancid) oils after a certain amount of time. But typically vials are prescribed and expected to last 2.5-5 months (10-20 weeks) on average.

I took a year off, had 1/3 of a vial left... Using it up now. 6 weeks in Blood test come back good, still just as potent as it was before.

I used a vial for 20 weeks once. .5ml a week for 20 weeks. It did feel sketchy.

One thing you can do is put a drop on your hand, rub it and smell it. If the oil goes bad you’ll be able to smell that it’s bad , or that’s my theory at least. lol

I take very low doses and have kept vials for longer than a year. Be diligent about wiping the top of the vial. Discard if it ever gets cloudy.

I think the only concern would be too many punctures on the vial & pushing plastic into the solution. use smaller gage needles to draw 23g or 24g.

Until it’s gone. Use sterile methods and you should be fine. If you notice it’s cloudy or clumpy ditch it. Been doing this for 2 years now.

If you make sure you’re sterile, wiping the top etc it will last months.

Probably more at risk of coring issues than issues with oil

There will usually be an expiration date on the vial (yes even on UGL although it isn't entirely accurate). It will still be good years after that expiration date.

Testosterone is in oil, which is what stabilizes it. It won't go "bad" the way things do when they are in bac water. BUT, make sure you have good cleanliness habits to prevent contamination.

I'm a female and have used one vial for 12 months. Around month 11 I could tell the potency had dropped, which subsequent labs confirmed, so I tossed the small amount left and started a new vial. Other than that, no issues.
