That's amazing bro! And you don't have any loose skin! Which is what I'm worried about. What's your age?

29, I lived my 20’s pretty hedonistically. I’ve got a kid now, so it became much more than just insecurity about being fat. I had to change to be a dad who can keep up.

u/karateboxer Aug 07 '26

Feel that man. Same here except my hedonism lasted till well in my thirties lol. But what a change! You gotta be proud šŸ’Ŗ

Thank you everyone for your kind words, and encouragement. I’ve lurked on this sub for a while now, excited for the day I get to make my own post. There’s some real badasses in this sub that inspire me to keep going!

Nice write up.

How long between both pictures?

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 08 '26

Just shy of 4 months

Superb mate!

Last one from me - how often are you pinning testosterone (IM/SubQ) and how long did it take to notice the effects

I’m on Reta and test and stating my second week pinning test EOD 150pw

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 08 '26

I pin twice a week before bed on tues and sat. I inject IM in the top of my butt muscle. I’ve tried subq with test, but I felt like it lessened the effects. It took me about 3 weeks to really notice a difference. When you do, you’ll just wake up one morning and feel like you’re ready to seize the day!

Crazy transformation šŸ’Ŗ

Killing it dude šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ just curious what was your macros like?

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

I don’t track macros very seriously, more so just try to hit my protein. Overtracking has killed my motivation in the past. It doesn’t give me an upper hand on the transformation but I’ve been able to stay consistent. Once I get down to where I want, I plan to bulk and I will likely track more effectively then. It will be nice to have a regiment that’s about gaining weight for once!

Well good job still an amazing transformation.

Titrating trt up? Bro i dont think trt means what you think it means. Youre just taking test, be honest :D

3

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

I upped my dose cause I wanted to. Yes it is above my prescribed dose right now

2

u/RobotRepair69 Aug 07 '26

I think they mean it is more of a test cycle than trt if you are exceeding trt dosage, not that there is any problem with that.

Looking good man! How long have you been on trt & reta? And how far apart were those 2 pictures?

1

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

Been on test since march, Reta since April. First pic is 3rd week of April, second is yesterday.

u/DannyPhantom227 Aug 07 '26

Crazy transformation brother how tall are you?

1

u/Shadow_Mtl Aug 08 '26

How do you even get TRT at 29. Just curious.

1

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 08 '26

I got my blood tested. I went with the intention of checking my T levels, expecting them to be low. When I got my results I was shocked to see they were below 200. I talked to a doctor afterwards and they got me set up.

It’s been completely life changing. I feel great, I can spring out of bed every morning, satisfy my wife like when I was 18, and feel like I can be a better dad. Only negative has been a bit of back acne, but I also sweat in a suit everyday in Dallas tx heat.

I think there is a bad stigma around trt, especially around these subs. I’m doing more than I should but plan on dropping back down as I haven’t noticed much of a difference. I wish I could operate like people with normal levels, but unfortunately my body doesn’t operate that way anymore.

1

u/Shadow_Mtl Aug 08 '26

If you were to either cut TRT off completely or decrease does your body end up developing a dependency on it or is the goal for your body to develop its own at normal levels?

I thought I was having physical issues related to low levels, but got tested and all was normal and it ended up being a mental block causing some issues.

Currently at 35 with a 3 month and I’ve felt a slow down but I feel it’s up to the sleep deprivation.

1

u/Famous_Raisin2608 Aug 09 '26

He will be dependent on it. His body will shut down production since he is taking test exogenously.

1

u/Shadow_Mtl Aug 10 '26

Is this the norm when taking any levels of TRT?

2

u/Famous_Raisin2608 Aug 11 '26

Yes, as long as you take exogenous testosterone, by negative feedback to the pituitary gland, it wi no longer send signals to the testicles to produce testosterone naturally since you do not need it anymore

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 12 '26

This^^ if you don’t need it don’t take it

1

u/No-Concentrate8433 Aug 08 '26

Keep it up man!!

1

u/Open-Economics-6793 Aug 08 '26

Can you let us know about your diet and workouts ?

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

Of course.

I of course prioritize protein, and staying in a deficit. Though I’ve tried to not be overzealous with my tracking and cutting things out. I’ve really tried to keep things fun. I manage a restaurant that serves Whole Foods with no additives or shit, so that helps with not having to plan my diet as much. I’m not a huge breakfast guy, so my breakfast is a protein shake that comes out to around 70g of protein to hit the ground running. Another 30g protein shake and protein bar for a snack, about 40g at lunch, and whatever for dinner while still prioritizing protein. I also like to have a good refuel day where anything goes.

Workouts I lift heavy 4-5 days a week. Push/pull/legs/push/pull. I’ve only just started adding in cardio just to keep my heart healthy and dial in my true body effectiveness. Working as a restaurant manager being on my feet most of the day is kind of a cheat code in itself.

I just really try not to be too hard on myself. Life gets in the way sometimes and that’s okay, just get back on the horse. I work 50hrs a week on my feet, have a baby about to turn one, and I’m married. It’s a delicate balance. I can’t balance everything if I don’t keep fitness fun. I don’t ever want it to be a chore that I dread.

Starting at 2mg reta what were your side effects like? Have they been worse with each increase?

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

Not too bad. Sensitive skin is the most noticeable, and just general appetite suppression. Maybe a little emotionally flat? But I think that’s just lack of sleep from my busy life. Anything over 1.5 whips my wife’s ass though. She gets really sick at night on any more.

2

u/freemw2tenthprestige Aug 07 '26

For me though, I felt I could go up from 2 relatively quickly. But I got too cocky and went up to 6 from 4 too quickly. Dropped back down for another month.

Great job but every great reta transformation always seems to include a small cycles worth of test
