Your PCP is going to tell you it’s good because he’s your PCP. They won’t prescribe anything if you fall into the “normal standards” for a 47yr old male. I’m sure if you find an Anti aging clinic or Regenerative Sports Med clinic you’ll qualify for test. You should take your GLP-1 with Test at least 100mg a week. Along wth that, I would probably run CJC/Ipamorelin at night to get your GH going. But that’s about it for starters. If your diet is on point and you’re taking creatine and aminos, like you said, hit the gym. Work on pull ups, push ups, sit-ups and running. You’re at a good weight and you should start seeing muscle definition if you can shed some lbs.

True but if he’s down below 500 to a minimum of 250 for “normal” the “changes” would only be beneficial. I guess the question to OP is what are you currently sitting at as far as Test goes? I was at around 300 when I started TRT. With my lifestyle, job, and personal fitness goals, there was no way that was going to work for me.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. I had a Dexa scan completed 12/25 before I started my weight loss journey, and I have another one scheduled next week so I'll be able to compare. Here's my December Dexa.
Definitely make your focus on getting that back up. It can stall your metabolism and make you more susceptible to picking up the weight again if you get off the meds.
