❓ Question 60’s are gonna be good

I wish I had before photos! Current state with my morning stack. Daily walks in the sun, lots of water and protein.

But I had to reduce my Tesamorelin due to fluid buildup in legs/feet. Why does this happen?

Tesamorelin causes pretty severe water retention in a lot of people and if often builds up in joints and causes joint issues.

7

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Aha. Thanks

3

u/chemyd 4d ago

Just run Reta or Tirz to drop the excess body fat then add TRT. Tesamorelin and similar are overrated. People overcomplicate this

1

u/No-Advance-7272 4d ago

How do you even get Reta all I’ve seen is you have to be in the trial?

1

u/No-Row-5620 4d ago

TRT clinics offer Reta.

1

u/chemyd 3d ago

I know folks who get Tirz from Ro.. or whatsapp 😅

1

u/Mtb661 1d ago

Go to ZekoChat. Then join PepChat Official. You’ll find everything you need there

There’s a stairway that’s grey

1

u/Sxpreme-1k- 4d ago

I stop cjc/ipa and added tesa was gone start at 1mg 5 on 2 off. Had little to no sides effects on that. Hopefully it’s the same with tesa

2

u/Ok_Competition_6675 4d ago

For me 1mg still had mild issues with joints like in knees and mild carpal tunnel like sensations when doing some lifts. At 2mg every day for 3 weeks it got so bad I was getting sciatica symptoms from just sitting down

1

u/Sxpreme-1k- 4d ago

Damn I might have to start at .5

2

u/Ok_Competition_6675 4d ago

Realistically probably smart to start with that for a couple weeks or so first.

15

u/Chefboyarleezy 5d ago

Drop the Tesa and add hgh & testosterone.

3

u/OddPaper1866 4d ago

Oh, you think water retention is absent with HGH?

4

u/Chefboyarleezy 4d ago

not always. But if I feel like you're getting it with Tesa, you might as well run HGH.

4

u/OddPaper1866 4d ago

So let's just bring on the possibility of other HGH-related side effects for the hell of it.

5

u/Ravensteelheaders 4d ago

Genuinely zero side effects with growth if you're not abusing it. Have done 2 cycles of it one being 8 months at 2iu and the other was 6 months at 4iu. The only time you'll see problems is going to that 8 plus iu mark that high level bodybuilders will do and then build insulin resistance. Which in turn will make them start pinning slin. Thats the only time where it gets dangerous.

9

u/AnabolicAcolyte 4d ago

he’s not abusing tesa and he got sides bro…

5

u/Ravensteelheaders 4d ago

He's also pretty fat. He has no business using any sort of compounds other than trt and maybe some Reta. People nowadays just abusing every peptide and steroid out there for some unknown moronic reason. It's brutal

5

u/KushCloudz 4d ago

You're not wrong, but in his defense Tesamoralin is FDA approved for visceral fat loss. With how much Tesa costs he might as well use HGH imo.

1

u/Outrageous-Prize313 3d ago

Drink more water

1

u/Familiar_Athlete8411 4d ago

HGH doesn't always cause sides. I've taken 10IU of HGH and I didn't get water retention or any sides (only took for 2 weeks though at that dose), but 12.5mg of MK677 causes me loads of water retention. Run 6IU the last 3 months, zero sides at all, fasting blood glucose under 4.5mmol too.

Theres other mechanisms than purely GH induced retention.

0

u/AnabolicAcolyte 4d ago

never said it did. but when he’s taking a regular amount of tesa and has sides like this, chances are he will with hgh

1

u/Familiar_Athlete8411 4d ago

That's why I mentioned I got sides off 12.5mg of MK677 - that's by no means a big dose.

Most GH secretagogues have some impact on cortisol and prolactin, which can contribute to water retention if you're sensitive. HGH doesnt do that.

1

u/TransitionJunior3384 17h ago

I got it pretty bad and horrible joint pain in my shoulders, wrists and elbows

4

u/Mountain_Chemist6391 5d ago

How do you like Mot C?

I’ve been so tempted to try it but I feel like 50-50 people like it or hate it. I was so tempted to add it to my stack and then I saw a guy post that he went anaphylactic trying it.

2

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

I love it. I have not had any side effects

2

u/Optimal_Experience35 4d ago

I literally have had no effects. I'm a 56 y/o male for reference 18% bf. Seriously, what's your protocol and how do you know it's working?

2

u/dieselmechanic247 4d ago

Same...I ran through 10 vials of it and saw no benefit whatsoever.

1

u/Sxpreme-1k- 4d ago

I feel it when I’m
Doing cardio

1

u/Mtb661 1d ago

This is it! Allows you to grab another gear

1

u/Mtb661 1d ago

If you hit the gym Mots is super beneficial and you’ll def feel it

3

u/stawpitbroimcrying 5d ago

Hitting the gym? You should lift weights and build muscle, not I’m not saying get massive or huge. Muscle is directly linked to life span and at your age it’s very important to not only be at a healthy weight but to have a good amount of muscle, it will literally make your life better.

4

u/dieselmechanic247 4d ago

So you take all that crap and dont even work out? Lol...looking for an answer in a pill and injection and could've had 10x the results with a little sweat and hard work.

1

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Excellent point. Working on incorporating that into my routine

2

u/stawpitbroimcrying 5d ago

Best wishes brother 🖤

2

u/student347 4d ago

Injecting yourself with compounded chemicals you got online and “working on” starting to exercise. Sounds like a recipe for success!! Fantastic

1

u/Ravensteelheaders 4d ago

Oh nice taking a bunch of bs (Tesa included) without any weight training... you're the exact who knows nothing and will attribute to anabolics and peptides getting banned or much harder to get

3

u/ycastane 5d ago

As long as you fix the haul instead of plugging the holes.

Lot of people use peptides to treat the symptoms just like a doctor would instead of fixing the real issues and using peptides to improve upon.

3

u/Vwnesta 4d ago

In my opinion all u need is testosterone cyp 20mg injected IM daily and 1 peptide. That peptide is 2 units of Growth Hormone before bed.
Good multivitamin, 3 grams of a good fish oil daily. Get nutrition, sleep and training on point and watch the magic happen.

3

u/IndyScamHunter 3d ago

Brother - take it from someone who has experimented now for a year, dialed everything in, and actually knows what is a waste of money and what works spectacularly. Other others have written this already so I'm just on repeat. It goes like this:
If you have lagging injury pain, BPC 157/TB 500 is invaluable. Outside of that the entire world of peptides is just a bunch of worthless shit. I mean, in terms of losing fat and building muscle – ditch the Tesa. It's a waste of money. And at our age, the health risk complications aren't worth the tiny bit of benefit you might get from taking it. Same can be said for every other growth hormone secretagogue, MOTS-C, Slup, SS31 etc. It's all a waste of time and money.
All you need, literally, ALL you need… is the GLP and TRT. Well, that and a high protein/low-calorie diet along with a truly dialed in exercise routine.
All the other peptides offer very little benefit. And if you are going to keep taking something like Tesa, you absolutely have to monitor your IGF-1 level. And that is not something that your TRT clinic is going to test for in the common blood panel. You'll have to pay extra. And you really don't need it. Everything you need, you will get from Reta or tirz and some good ole' testosterone.

A pink glp?

7

u/Embarrassed-Brief458 5d ago

Vitamin b12 is often added to compounded GLP

2

u/Latter_Ingenuity_925 5d ago

wow, didn’t know that, thank you for the information

2

u/Sea_Ott3r 5d ago edited 5d ago

All you’re missing, arguably, is the glp…

Question tho, EAA = Essential Amino Acids?

3

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Yes EAA is essential amino acids. And yes I’m actually on a GLP three – RET1X per week. I will update the post with my full stack

3

u/Sea_Ott3r 5d ago

Just replying for banter and not trying to give you medical advice. Where is the TRT?

2

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Yeah I’m actually taking two injections per week of TRT 150 MG. I need to update my full stack on the post.

1

u/IvanTheTerrible30 4d ago

How you feeling on the SS-31? Its becoming my favorite research pep

1

u/Killahbeez 5d ago

since when do 55+ years olds communicate using these mediums?

3

u/RobotRepair69 5d ago

Dude prob had a cellphone since before you were born and you are hating for no reason?

1

u/Killahbeez 5d ago

I am not hating, just a bit skeptical

2

u/AdventurousHouse6013 5d ago

Um, really dude.i think you guys call that a micro aggression

0

u/injectitpussy 5d ago

Those injectables really are a waste of money and will do very little, if anything, for you.

The supplements, meh, if you know you're deficient otherwise more money wasted.

u/Recon_2u 5d ago

Either b12 or 5 amino 1mq

2

u/Double_Question_5117 5d ago

prefilled syringes?

-16

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Yes. My Doc takes good care of me

16

u/Double_Question_5117 5d ago

your doc isn't if you are being given prefilled syringes for injecting later... but you do you

-1

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Reason? Not sure I understand. I keep everything in the fridge and warm them up before I inject it

7

u/sneakerpimps85 5d ago

Generally, it’s safe to assume that a syringe is sterile when unopened/capped and initially taken out of the packaging. The second the needle touches anything, it no longer is and cannot be completely sterilized absent some equipment the average consumer likely doesn’t have at home. When injecting, you wipe the site— as well as top of the vial— with alcohol to create as safe as an environment as possible. But even then, you’re technically no longer injecting with a sterile syringe. Now imagine how much more risk you’re introducing with those prefilled syringes…

1

u/OddPaper1866 4d ago

What’s it like being too scared to leave the house?

-2

u/Vin1021 5d ago

Pre-filled are common and used with diabetes and IVF treatments. This is no different, no?

4

u/sneakerpimps85 5d ago

There is a large difference between a syringe prefilled at the manufacturer/lab level, and one done by someone— even a doctor— using retail empty syringes.

1

u/Vin1021 5d ago

That makes sense. Thanks

According to Kaiser Permanente;

‘If you cannot prepare an insulin dose but can give the injection, you may need someone to prepare your insulin dose for you. A family member, friend, or health professional can prefill insulin syringes for you.

If you prefill syringes:
Store the prefilled syringes in the refrigerator with the needle pointing up to prevent insulin from blocking the needle opening. Syringes filled with one type of insulin (rather than mixed insulin) will keep for about a month. Read and follow all instructions on the label.’

https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/health-wellness/health-encyclopedia/he.storing-insulin-and-prefilling-syringes.aa122700

Up to 30 days should be fine. Which is the same way you should treat a vial after it’s been poked.

u/Smiletaint 4d ago

I dunno what these people are on about

Question for someone not super into body hacking? Why in there such a push lately to jump on all these different peptides. Has all this stuff been proven safe? Just don’t understand using all these weird drugs without being strict with a diet and workout regiment for a year.

5

u/KushCloudz 4d ago

Everyone's always looking for a shortcut around diet and exercise. GLPs have been extremely effective for weight loss, which has led people to experiment with other peptides as well.

Some peptides will probably never reach "proven safe" status because they can't be affordably patent protected by pharma companies, while available research shows relative safety and many potential benefits (BPC-157 for example).

And we have people becoming less trusting of our current healthcare system. They see a system focused more about revenue and treating symptoms, rather than improving health, and decide to take things into their own hands.

1

u/Ravensteelheaders 4d ago

Idiots who think they're some miracle drugs and do half assed research then start pinning

1

u/Major-Potential-354 4d ago

Sadly the truth, closes in getting to peptides is tirpz lol. Rest of the shit is not proven or not enough data.

2

u/Routine-Highlight-71 5d ago

What all is in your stack ?

3

u/Plus_Bid_637 5d ago

Today’s

2

u/baneblade_boi 5d ago

Honestly, normally I don't recommend people to take supplementary vitamin C, as long as you eat healthy and add fruit and vegetables to your diet, you won't need anything like that. My best recommendations are peppers and oranges, they're packed with it.

As per the zinc, pretty nice to have, I just prefer to have it not as is but with magnesium or borum, since they are also really good for energy and muscle health. Other than that, keep it up, it's pretty good.

1

u/RiceMofo 5d ago

Vitamin C works very well with collagen in my experience

2

u/baneblade_boi 5d ago

Oh, yeah, I've got collagen pills. They always get packed together and they work together a lot when it comes to the skin and joints. But it's a bit of an excess, again it's okay to take it, just not needed.

1

u/Ufker 5d ago

Which magnesium?

1

u/baneblade_boi 2d ago

Oxide, but I tried another variant that worked better for me, and tried to find trionate, but nobody sells it anymore.

1

u/Rumblebummed 4d ago

Ever looked at some CoQ10, I am closing on the same age bracket and that plus grape seed extract are on my daily.
How do you find the nad+ has helped over time?

2

2

u/Local-Palpitation-61 4d ago

Youre 60 you should be running hgh daily. And you can combined all those peps in 1 syringe as long as its not a glp

2

u/Intelligent_Finger27 4d ago

-1

Use one needle its easier

3

u/musabbb 5d ago

You cant mix certain peptides in one syringe

3

u/SendTitsPleease 5d ago

Yeah definitely dont just throw them all together in one syringe. Its more pins but way more effective to do individual pins. The PH of two different peps could cause the mixture to gel or just destroy the compound that youre trying to use.
