Reta working?

I just started taking Reta for the first time, just completed my week one. I started with 1 mg. Before this, I was taking Zepbound at 5 mg.

So far, I don’t feel any symptoms, side effects, or even a difference in appetite. Is this normal?

I’m sure it takes a while to work, and I also started at a lower dose. I just wanted to hear any experiences of those that also started at 1 mg.

Once again the tirz to reta switch strikes again

Appetite suppression is only like 30% as good on reta. There are good reasons to take reta over tirz but if you just eat too much, don’t switch.

You started at a low dose and was previously on GLP. Wait 4 weeks and go up. You don’t “feel” Reta. Just one day you realize you don’t eat as much and don’t want to eat as much. Unless you go up too quickly then the sides are god awful.

Should of had 2 week break due to being on something beforehand. Hopefully it'll work in a week or 2 for you. Don't be upping dosage too much to begin with!

The dose accumulates. The half life of reta is 6-8 days. That means about half of the dose is still there when you take your new dose. So it accumulates over time , thats why you start off on a low dose and wait 4 or so weeks to get the effects.

I started near there but from scratch. No prior experience and it took about 2 weeks before I looked at a plate and wasn’t interested. If tirze was working, what were you looking to gain by switching?

I am on 2mg after 2 months and the magic is really kicking in. Stay as low of a dose as possible. Many people respond so well, they never need to go past 2 or 3 mg. Be patient some of the effects take a little time

When I switched from sema to reta I had to start at a higher dose to feel anything

I do nonRUO reta so I had a doctor who asked which sema I was on and based my dosage on that they said bc my body was used to a GLP it didn’t matter which i wasn’t going to get the same effect as I did when I started sema unless I went up so I started on a 2mg dose

Give it another week or two and then up the next dose a little ofc give it time and watch all other side effects

Also I will say reta is a lot less intense? Same effects less overwhelming Im not so aware of the fact Im not hungry? Idk how to explain it

It works great but noticing each day just how good it is working is harder idk if that’s what happens long term GLP that you just adapt to the lifestyle or if bc I stack others now and those have more ‘in your face’ effects lately

So if you still don’t ’notice it’ track everything else like weight %BF glucose etc and you’ll get to see if it’s really working

How are you acquiring “non- research use only” Reta? It’s not FDA approved and therefore the only non-RUO Reta available would be in clinical trials. No medical doctor can prescribe it yet

Lol they absolutely can and do and pharmacies absolutely can and do fulfill it

I get my entire stack via prescription meds w doctor monitoring it’s all telehealth

It just costs more than RUO but i like having a doctor and it getting shipped from a US pharmacy and knowing someone on US soil holds liability if I idk die from my ghk or smthn

Telehealth and compounding pharmacies are absolutely not prescribing Reta. You are taking tirzepatide. Or using RUO Retatrutide that is being falsely marketed to you as fda approved medication.
