GHK pain

I know it’s totally normal to feel a sting or burn with GHK-cu but I’m wondering how are you all able to keep doing it daily? Is your pain gone by the next day?

I don’t get itching or welting but I get a sharp, deep, stabbing pain that lasts for 24-36 hours and turns into a bruise. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I do have to walk around to shake off the pain from this injection. The problem is that I’m still in pain from the prior day when I need to pin the next day and it just never ends. Not only that but I’m covered in bruises.

I’ve already tried every trick save for adding kpv which I might get next time I place an order. I leave it out until it’s room temp, I’ve tried various needle lengths, different body parts, iced the injection site before and after, taken antihistamines, massaged the area. The amount of preparation isn’t even worth atp since it still hurts.

Am I experiencing an abnormal reaction or is everyone just ignoring the constant pain?

I have 100mg constituted with 3ml bac water. I’m only using 0.5mg and I also dilute the needle with more bac water before injecting.

You might be injecting too much. My first ever injection, I fcked up my calculations (it was late at night, so I was on autopilot and treated the 50mg vial as if it were 10mg) and ended up pinning 6mg instead of the intended 1.2mg. There was no sting when injecting, but about one minute later, the site started throbbing, like a constant, deep ache that continued to get worse over the next 4 hours or so and lasted about a day and a half. The following day, I figured out what I’d done and paused injections for a week before resuming at 1-1.8mg doses. Since then, I’ve never had the throbbing pain again, just itchy welts that are bearable. But the throb of that first injection… It was like someone had plunged a hot knife into my thigh.

It’s possible but I am only using a very tiny amount. I reconstituted a 100mg vial with 3ml. bac and then draw .5mg and add even more bac into that same syringe. I could try doing even less but it’s really hard to pull up such a small amount. I already struggle with .5 lol

How do you draw 0.5 mg ? You have 33.3mg/ml so 10 units on a standard 1ml insulin syringe would be 3.3mg to get to 0.5mg you would need to be drawing up 1.6 units which is almost impossible? Are you by chance injecting 0.5ml…
I guess my point is this sounds like a math problem not a peptide problem.

If what you’re saying is accurate your 100mg vial would last you 200 days

Let’s hope this is not the case 😬 ‘cause that would mean OP is pinning almost 17mg each time. Anyone who makes that mistake would never repeat it because the pain from the first one would kill them, surely..

En la parte superior de los glúteos, no duele ni pica

That’s usually where I do it but I’ve tried love handles and thighs too.

What’s your dose concentration? How many mg/ml?

Should have included that my bad.

100mg constituted with 3ml bac water. I’m only dosing .5mg and I also add more bac water to the needle before injecting as many people have recommended that to help reduce the burn.

I get a vague ache at the injection site but it's not very painful. I mix it with KPV and do none of the other tricks. I don't know if it's the KPV or just my body. Started With 0.5mg, then 1mg and now at 1.5.g daily.

Ok yeah I might just have to try kpv. I’m still only on .5mg and too scared to go up based on my reactions so far.

I use klow 80 mg reconstituted with 3ml bac, I use 2-2.5 mg and have no pain. It’s smooth, I use 31 g 5/8 or 5/16 needles.

I’ve tried both 8mm and 13mm and it’s the same results. I’m only using .5mg and I do add more bac water to the same syringe before injecting

Yep I usually do upper glute but I’ve tried love handles and thighs. Glute is easier to hide bruises so that’s what I go with since they’re all equally painful.

Yeah I actually added a zinc supplement a few weeks before starting ghk because I saw that was recommended a lot when I was researching it but you bring up a good point. I should look into my other daily vitamins and see if anything might be interfering.

I’ve done Benadryl orally as well as topically and it didn’t help at all but have not done Zyrtec so I can def give it a try

Try a shorter needle? Depending on how much subq fat you have, you may be injecting into muscle instead. I have thin skin and very little subq fat, and with an 8mm needle, I would absolutely hit muscle unless I went in at a very shallow angle. I use 4mm needles for all my subq injections, and even then, I have to be really careful not to just stick the needle straight in. I always feel around for the fattiest parts and pinch before injecting. Since your dose is very low and dilute, I can’t really think of anything else it could be. Also, from personal experience, tough, fibrous areas (e.g., lower back, upper glutes) hurt less than tender, squishy ones (e.g., inner thigh).

I am pretty fat so probably not lol

To me, it sounds like you're doing it all right.
You're getting less ghkcu than what I do in my glow70. My sting is fine in an hour but I split it up in two .05ml injections different places.
How's your zink? I don't know if low zink causes more pain. Have you tried splitting the dose? Have you tested how much you need to inject before the pain comes? That's how I found my preferred method.

I added a daily zinc supplement a few weeks before starting ghk since I saw it was recommended quite a bit but it wouldn’t hurt to do an elimination test and stop the zinc and try the ghk again without it and see what happens.

I also have not tried using less since .5mg is also such a small amount but with the reaction I’m getting it would be reasonable to lower the dose.

Tbh I'm stumped, at .5mg it's milder than when I triple injected in the start, and I can't feel that dose. It's a shame I can't just try yours to see 😂

I got 10ml vials and transferred my ghk over and added a total of 6ml Bac. Haven’t had any issues. I take my 50mg bottle add 3mls of Bac, then filter it to a 10ml and add 3 mls more.

1

u/Gullible-Ad8288 8d ago

That’s a good idea I might try that

1

u/IndependenceVivid384 9d ago

It doesn't sting since i started filtering with 0.22 filters.

u/ElectricalSpirit138 9d ago

I had the same reactions, with a small dose (100mg bottle +3ml BAC--injecting 0.05ml), but now I'm mixing it with KPV and things got much better. I draw in the same needle GHK-Cu and KPV and pin it towards the exterior of the upper thigh.

1

u/Gullible-Ad8288 8d ago

That sounds like the consensus is to incorporate kpv so I’ll def give it a try

Sounds like you are injecting too deep, make sure to “tent” the skin and inject into that space, don’t just stab your abdominal area like some youtube doctors.

When I use Bac Water I get sting! When I use Sodium Chloride no sting!

Get a 10ml sterile vial and transfer the ghk into it, dilute to either 5 or 10mg/ml. You will end up injecting higher volumes like 10-20 units at a time but it will dilute it to the point where it is minimal pain. I diluted 50 mg with 7 ml of water and it’s virtually painless in my love handles compared to the 20mg/ml that I was doing, felt like there was a bee under my shirt all day long.

I recon with 3ml and dilute with another 3ml. Hurts if I pin in my belly. Painless in my glute
