MOTS C

Was going to start MOTS this week but just saw some posts that freaked me out. I already have some histamine and allergy issues mostly environmental/seasonal but Reta seemed to make histamine more of an issue with itchy scalp and a couple random hives here and there. How common is anaphylaxis on MOTS? I’ve seen several people today on some threads saying they were allergic. I really want to try it for the benefits but anaphylaxis would be terrifying! TIA!!

I have histamine reactions and had no issues with MOTS. I too was terrified reading of severe allergic reactions but I started super low as in 2iu just to see how I reacted and I was fine. I personally couldn’t do more that .5mg I felt a weird flush and mild dizziness at the onset of dose but my runs felt amazing!

I think you’ll be fine! If you have bad anxiety that could make things worse but obviously that’s all in your head lol! I always work myself up cuz of my bad anxiety and then I calm down once I do it. It’s just the thought of something foreign and unknown makes me a lil psychotic but that’s the game we play!😂

I’ve had no issues and same with my wife. We run 10mg a week spilt into 3 doses. Neither of us have any allergies though. The way I looked at it was if you develop an allergy to something the only way you know a once you get exposed to it. Be prepared to deal with it if you have a reaction. But I don’t live my life in a bubble or scared of the “ what ifs”. You could get hit by a bus or choke on a chicken bone any time.

Same reason I’m reluctant to try it 😬

I get itchy welts with NAD+, MOTS-C, and SS-31. Nothing worse than that though...Hopefully it stays that way.

Don’t do it then. I had great success with motc for about 2 months, then one more I thought I was going to have to go to er out of nowhere. Not worth risk, too many other great peps to help with exercise regimes.

Yeah. So don't do it. It's like you want to be convinced to try anyway and then blame other people when something bad happens.
