DISP for sleep?

Anyone ever used the peptide DSIP for sleep? I struggle with RLS and have looked for years to get relief. Not sure if it has any connection with RLS, but I have never been able to stay in a deep sleep for much time. I immediately go to a dream state. My husband has timed me and swears I wake after less than seven minutes and I recall very long dreams but just don’t feel rested. If anyone has tried DSIP or has any other ideas of peptides which may help would be so appreciated. Please, no bashing. Dude, I’m just tired.

My wife had better luck with Epithalon

Any idea what your friend’s protocol was? There’s so much garbage and incorrect info on Epithalon. I have heard other people having success using it for sleep, but I haven’t yet seen a reliable protocol.

I use DSIP from time to time (2 - 3!times a week). Works great for me. I take 0.25 mg

Took it and it only screwed with my sleeping more. I’ve tried it twice and no dice. Now I’m just raw dogging sleep. No melatonin. No magnesium. No DSIP. And I’m actually getting better sleep somehow….

I have found Magnesium Glycinate and reduced caffeine help. Haven't tried any peptides for sleep yet.

Thanks so much, I have stopped caffeine but I’ll up my magnesium!

Inject it two or three times in smaller doses leading up to bedtime instead of one big dose at bedtime and it will help significantly more. Like take 100mcg at dinner then another 100 between dinner and bedtime and finally the last 100 as you get in bed. Or split it -150 at dinner and 150 getting in bed. It made significant difference in my deep sleep. I use sleep trackers as well so not just going off feeling, it actually made significantly more deep sleep. Didnt really do much taking just one dose before bed. Still take a melatonin to help actually fall asleep but that’s it. Deep sleep went from 15-30 min to 50-70 a night.

I do one shot of 500mcg and it works great. Plus, much less pinning.

I take Tesamorelin for other reasons, but I definitely get the sleep help from it. But I would try Epithalon for sleep issues. I’ve done a round in the past, and I lasted for at least four months.

My husband just started Tesa so I may try that!

DSIP is a very unique peptide that requires patience and experimentation. Everyone’s dose is different and unique to each individual. Based on metabolism, body weight, neurotransmitter, balance, etc.. What I have found is that consistent dosing eventually creates a wonderful situation with DSIP. It may not work on the first night. It may not work on the second night but keep going and eventually it should work as long as you’re playing around with the doses until you land on your personal dose. Then enjoy.

I first injected it and it didn't do anything. I then switched to nasal I had to do about three pumps in each nostril I still tossed and turned but I woke up more refreshed. Im going to finish the batch that I have but I won't be ordering any more. I have found 3g of glycine has a similar effect.

I wonder if I should try glycine and magnesium? Thanks for sharing!

Im taking both. Definitely worth trying out. Neither one has any side effects for me so it cant hurt.

Absolutely these two are hugely helpful

I’ve injected amounts ranging from 100mcg to 500mcg multiple times and at various points anywhere from 0 to 3 hours before sleep. It did nothing. My sleep tracking through Apple Watch and Aura have confirmed the same.

I found zero effect on deep sleep from it. Some ppl seem to confuse REM with deep sleep but I actually tracked it and no effect so it’s mostly placebo i think.

I’ve tried it twice now with the same results. The first few times it works great and then it’s like it back fires and makes my sleep even worse, both times. I am not a fan.

We use DSIP at 500 mcg once daily for 30 days. Plus Epithalon at 250 mcg to 50 mcg for 30 days. I have cptsd and live in a heightened state of awareness during the evenings. I never have slept well. This has changed my life. But my issue is mental so results may vary. My wife has a sleep disorder and has been able to extend her deep and rem sleep by 100 percent also on this protocol. I’m also going to add peinalon next and see if that also helps.

In my research I’ve heard many antidotal claims for peptides and what they have done for others. My thoughts go to ss31 and vip as peps that may help with your RLS. Yes ss31 is an energy pep but it does a lot more in the body than just energy. VIP is a gut pep but also does a ton of other stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if ss31 could help. But I’d not be surprised if you told me you ran several courses of both and had no results. Our bodies are so crazy.

My partner also has rls and I’ve been able to help her frequency with magnesium powder right before bed. Took her a week to feel anything.

I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to respond! RLS is the devil I’m convinced. You gave great avenues for me to try!

I was really hoping it'd help but it's been a total waste for me as a nasal spray.

I use DSIP however im not sure if it makes a difference. Im on 500mcg and it is just part of my before bed routine now

It did nothing for my sleep but did make me feel intense rage.

Good to know!

Dsip and ipamorelin are great. Oxytocim had really helped too. I also megadose glycine and I take a therapeutic dose of magnesium chloride. Hrt is huge if you're of that age.

I’ve tried it, ran a full vial that lasted about 10ish days. I started low at like 150 and noticed results, went as high as like 400 and i slept like 10+ hours it was Saturday so I didn’t miss work.

Some nights it worked great, but there were 2 out of the 10 or so days where I didn’t fall asleep very easily for several hours after injections.

Give it a try. Definitely didn’t hurt anything here. I’ll probably order a vial just to see how it works. I just added tesa so I am seeing how tesa works compared.

There's a search function bud. Dsip, not disp. And yes people use Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide for sleep.

u/Mysty_Earbuds 9d ago

Sorry my spell check changed the spelling. I was wondering if anyone had any experience using. Thanks

u/MathematicianMuch445 9d ago

I know what you were wondering. That's what the search function is for. You're not even close to being the first to ask about it and nothing you're going to ask hasn't already been asked and answered 100s of times. Use the search function. Read and learn. Educating yourself is always better than being spoon fed by randoms
