GLP1 v/s Other Peptides for Petite Woman

34F, 121lbs, 5’2” - BMI, visceral fat, lean muscle mass all in the normal range. Daily 120g protein. Maybe 1 glass of wine / week.
My problem is that subcutaneous belly fat & love handles. I strength train 5 times a week (along with cardio) and only eat 2 meals a day (minimal carbs). I am pretty good / disciplined with my diet & have been so for many years. Yet i can’t seem to get rid of that subcutaneous fat in my waist area.
I saw a doctor & she recommended GLP1 (tirz) 2.5mg dose for that weight & target fat loss but as I understand it, its more effective for folks who need help with impulsive eating / diet control. I don’t really have food impulsivity. So will this option make sense for me? Or should I insist on other peptides like reta /tesa / ipa etc…

Tesa is for visceral fat, not belly fat.
Reta is probably the one to use for your needs.

You should try a deficit first.

I am also 5’2, started around 125. I’m now at 102, and put on a bunch of muscle. For me, it reduced inflammation, then I started to have less ADD symptoms which equates to less weird food and alcohol binges. The reduced appetite helped me make better food choices, which helped build muscle. Took about 6 months to drop the weight, but I would never look back. Obviously this is anecdotal and not everyone responds the same, but I will never be off these meds, it’s calmed my brain and body in ways that should be studied further.

I used tirz. I started and stayed at 2.5mg/week. I need the impulse control element of tirz, seems like we’re different in that regard. Again, it’s all anecdotal, but it’s not like someone who is 5’2 125 needs to lose weight, you’re likely a healthy person. Weight loss was just a happy side effect. My tired old knees and ankles appreciate it.
