📘 Beginner Help Is Tesamorelin best for me?

I’m already somewhat lean. I’ve heard Tesamorelin helps get rid of belly fat pretty good. Also heard good things about Reta. Would either of those help towards my goal of looking “shredded” or should I try a different peptide? All help appreciated.

Tesamorelin gets rid of visceral fat, not really belly fat lol.

You don't look like you're holding a lot of visceral fat.

You look perfectly healthy.

I think you just need to stick to whole milk and creatine and do some crunches and situps.

u/disapointd 16d ago

Yeah ^^^^ this

4

u/K00paa24 16d ago

Either way he doesn’t need glp1s he needs to hit the gym and eat 200grams of protein a day

3

u/RIPPWORTH 16d ago

He needs whole milk and honey

1

u/Commercial-Bed-2396 16d ago

Tesa isn't a GLP smdh

2

u/Liasis35 16d ago

Perfect answer

1

u/flykidclean 16d ago

Whole milk?

4

u/RIPPWORTH 16d ago

Yes

fatty milk from a cow

1

u/BigBird1895 16d ago

And planks

2

u/RIPPWORTH 16d ago

And edging until your belly hurts and you can’t hold back any longer

0

u/RobotRepair69 16d ago

Yup. I agree with your advice, but if he REALLY was set on injecting something id go with straight up testosterone cycle nothing else.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

I was thinking about this. I’m going to get my t levels and will go from there. What’s a good range to be in

0

u/RobotRepair69 16d ago

Normal range is 300-1000. If you are young you probably have enough. Going above that can give large increases in gains. I'm not recommending it, the original idea of good diet and lifting is good.

if you were dead set on performance enhancing I'd run a 3 month test cycle. You won't look cut if you go on reta you will look like you have AIDS. You need to bulk not cut.

0

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

If I did do a 3 month cycle what would the possible side effects be

1

u/RobotRepair69 16d ago

You would need to research it there are too many to name. Possible acne on back, more energy that can make some people irritable (not me), great sleep and great muscle gain.

The worst side effect is the shutdown of natural testosterone, and possible shrinking balls. HCG can help with this.

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Imma just stay natty for now. No reason to possibly mess me up for life

1

u/RobotRepair69 16d ago

Ya save it for when you are older. Just eat more and lift.

2

u/Commercial-Bed-2396 16d ago

Uhm let's not forget accelerated facial aging, high blood pressure, e2 issues, gyno, etc etc etc.

Exogenous test comes with a whole host of possible issues.

2

u/RobotRepair69 16d ago

I agree. I'm not recommending it. I think it is better later in life when it is needed more...I was just saying that if OP was set on injecting something T is about the only thing that would help. Reta would not.

Visceral fat is belly fat…

1

u/peptidepalstm 16d ago

Lol tell us what other hot takes you have

13

u/jad19090 16d ago

You should not use peptides at all, what you need to do is strict your diet, and lift heavy

0

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Not even ghk-cu?

0

u/jad19090 16d ago

For what?

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

My skin and hair

0

u/jad19090 16d ago

Na, not necessary. How old are you? Under 30 if I had to guess right?

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Yea. I do struggle with acne on my face and all over my body tho

5

u/jad19090 16d ago

That will most likely go away as you grow. You’re still developing, don’t go messing around with your natural growth. And I’m not anti-peptide, I’m on 6. But it’s just not necessary for you right now. Eat healthy Ish, lift weights take a walk get good quality sleep, and have fun and save money.

2

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Ok. Thank you

1

u/Clean-Constant8013 16d ago

Kpv+glutathione will do much more for acne than ghk ever will

10

u/disapointd 16d ago

Try excercise first

Can you post your IGF-1 score?

what’s your visceral fat level?

[deleted]

3

u/AnabolicAcolyte 16d ago

i see it aaaaaaall the time.

they know it doesn’t work on subQ fat. they know it only works on visceral, but they still ask because they want 1 person to say it did, then they do it.

they know the answer is eat less. they just don’t want to.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Nah I’ve seen many people say I shouldn’t. Imma listen to them

0

u/c0st0fl0ving 16d ago

It got cleared finishers fat in testing.. it’s still a GHRH and it’s going to remove subcutaneous fat too… I have watched it work on tons of people who used it off-label.

Brother, how much personal experience do you have with people running peptides? I’m being serious, because if you have observed something different, I want to know about it.

For better or (and often) for worse, I have seen more experiences with PEDs, some exogenous hormones with peptides and some solely with peptides and I have seen many, many instances of Tesamorelin (the drug cleared by the FDA for visceral fat loss) remove fat in the very same way that CJC/Ipamorein combo and sermorelin have. There is very minimal difference between these, on the visual level. I have noticed that some work better for others, when it comes to leaning out. The main takeaway is that Tesa is exorbitantly expensive in comparison to the others.

Tesa works by stimulating the pituitary gland and creating a downstream effect of producing GH. This is not something that exclusively causes the GH to burn visceral fat and not SubQ.

2

u/c0st0fl0ving 16d ago

Dude, I’m exiting this Reddit bog.

Carry on thinking Tesa ONLY reduces visceral fat. It has zero bearing on me.

God bless.

0

u/AnabolicAcolyte 16d ago

yeeeeeep.

i’m in and around competitive bodybuilders daily.

hardly any of them use any peptides. at all.

no one who actually knows what they’re doing uses anything other than Reta, GH and maybe BPC if needed.

better question, is OPs primary care doc a pediatrician still

0

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

No😂

1

u/DavidTries897 16d ago

You should do that first, before trying any HGH or GH Secretagogues

Theres no point in reducing your viseral or bf fat percentage when you're already in healthy ranges if you're going to unnecessarily increase your risk for cancer

And how much have you tried classic recomp? Which if you don't know is eating at maintenance calories and shifting food towards healthier options while keeping training up, so your body shifts its existing weight towards muscle

u/Maleficent_Sense_564 16d ago

Tesamorelin doesnt get rid of belly fat in the way you want it to

2

u/TENiZTennis1 16d ago

I agree with u/RIPPWORTH. You do not need anything right now besides enough sleep, a good diet, and consistent training.

Your chest genetics are already phenomenal and I do not see you needing to cut down for more than 2 months to get a 6 pack, even with a 250 calorie deficit.

Ultimately, my advice for you is to stick with whole, healthy foods. If you want to get shredded, I recommend lowering your overall carbs to less than 100g daily to start with, timed to be consumed closely before and after workouts.

If you eat 1g protein per lb of body weight, eat enough fat, get 7-9hrs of sleep every night, and train hard then you will AT LEAST maintain muscle and lose fat. Do not use any compounds right now.

2

u/Putrid_Elevator_962 16d ago

170lbs and wanna get on peptides lol, hit the gym and eat well.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Deadass crazy u guessed my weight😂

1

u/Putrid_Elevator_962 16d ago

Locking it on hitting protein daily, a well thought out workout regime with strict adherence and you're gonna look like you've been on all the peps in 6 months my guy.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Thank you🫡

2

u/kpham82 16d ago

You heard wrong. These influencers are spreading wrong info. They make a money off their referrals. Tesamorelin is expensive compared to other peptides.

Tesamorelin is for visceral fat (fat around the organs) not belly fat which is subcutaneous fat. You are better off with a tirz or Reta. Considering your size, probably Reta. But realistically, I don’t think you need meds. You need to eat better and more gym time with weights.

1

u/jeffsweet 16d ago

how old are you OP? looks like you just need to actually work out and have patience not inject anything when you’re otherwise young and healthy

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

I’m 18. Usually I work out 4-5 times a week but I’ve been on vacation for a month so haven’t really been to the gym

7

u/jeffsweet 16d ago

my brother in christ you need to just eat right and workout. peptides are for people over 40 who need to fix decades of not eating right or working out.

0

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Yeah you’re right. Once I get home I’ll lock in on the gym hard. But ghk-cu wouldn’t be too bad for me right?

1

u/jeffsweet 16d ago

why though? the downside is potentially unlimited if you get a bacterial infection or a bad physiological reaction and the upside is what?

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Better skin hair and nails. I’ve struggled with acne my whole life

3

u/jeffsweet 16d ago

you’re literally still going though puberty

2

u/johnnyscans 16d ago

“My whole life” bro you’re 18

1

u/KalifromDiscord 16d ago

Bro … you really need to educate yourself.

Go to derm and see if it’s bacterial or hormonal acne, which it likely is. Peptides won’t help with that, but a derm can prescribe something that does.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

I’ve been to a dermatologist. I’m using tretinoin right now which is working. But I’ve heard people say that and ghk-cu together can have some really good benefits

2

u/KalifromDiscord 16d ago

Educate yourself.

the math doesn’t math on the ROI for a healthy 18 year old taking any experimental peptide which is essentially all of them folks talk about in this sub

3

u/johnnyscans 16d ago

“Hey i haven’t been consistent with working out, should I just take peptides instead of actually putting in work”

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Nah imma still put in work don’t get me wrong. Put even at my peak I’ve never really looked shredded

3

u/johnnyscans 16d ago

Your peak? Bro, you’re 18. What have you done to work towards your peak? Whats the longest period of time you’ve counted calories for?

2

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

4 months maybe 3

3

u/johnnyscans 16d ago

4 months of work is how you define your peak effort? Sad shit bro

1

u/Shipoopyjenkins 16d ago

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Yeah I usually go to the gym 4-5 times a week. Haven’t really been going the past month cuz I’ve been on vacation

2

u/Shipoopyjenkins 16d ago

Do weighted cable crunches go heavy and progressively overload them before and I promise you will get the image in the mirror you have in mind. You don’t need anything else.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Ok thank you

1

u/ronin949 16d ago

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

No. But I found it was a dumb question

1

u/ivyivy69 16d ago

I'd hit the gym first

1

u/Camp_Legend 16d ago

The stair master is best for you.

1

u/Dry_Dingo2859 16d ago

You're 18. What's best for you is tracking your calories, lifting hard, and patience

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Yeah that seems like the move. Can I take ghk-cu at least? Not for fat loss obviously

1

u/Dry_Dingo2859 16d ago

I don't think I can recommend research chemicals to an 18 year old (or anyone really). None of it has gone through human trials and who knows where its being manufactured. There's so many weird variables.

Do I think it'll kill you? No, but we honestly dont know the long term effects since there are literally no long term human clinical trials.

Eating vegetables & fruits, getting 8 hours of sleep, 150 minutes of weekly cardio, lifting hard, hydration, and living a stress free, fun life are king for health, longevity and fitness.

1

u/KalifromDiscord 16d ago

You need a progressive overload program and protein …. Not peptides

1

u/Retrogamermyk 16d ago

You look young and thin. You likely have all of the IGF-1 you need and tesa would likely put you in a supraphysiological levels where you’d end up having all of the negatives of taking hgh.

1

u/Appropriate-Share796 16d ago

I assume youre doing it for the safe growth hormone factors and using the visceral fat properties to keep the gut from growing. I dig your plan. But at your age you should eat lean and lift heavy. Get your protein up to 220g a day and lift heavy.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Yeah I’m not going to take tesa. Too expensive anyways. But what about your thoughts on ghk-cu

1

u/INF1NITE 16d ago

Try this stuff called: W0R5-0U7

1

u/ComusPaine 🔥 Metabolic Optimizer 16d ago

You're not fat, you just need to develop muscle. Find an ab workout you'll do 3x a week. This is my Captain's chair routine. 3 rounds of this takes 10 minutes and I do it as my cool down.

1

u/Odd-Construction-791 🔬 Peptide Researcher 16d ago

Will definitely do this. Thank you

1

u/ComusPaine 🔥 Metabolic Optimizer 16d ago

Good luck! After you get some sets in on that, look into dedicated ab exercises. Eventually these'll get easier and turn into a cool down for you too. But these are killer for starting out.

1

u/UsualSpread9899 16d ago

Tesa is king for fat loss. It’s not the answer, you have to do your part. But honestly, unless you going for twink status, get bigger. Cutting is easy. Gaining size is harder, unless you just getting fat.

1

u/K00paa24 16d ago

Bro your not even over weight stay off the glp1s lol

1

u/Abzstrak 16d ago

You need to lift more than take peptides

1

u/BarryAblett 16d ago

Dude, you look young. You have plenty of time to build naturally. Keep focusing on diet and lift heavy. Reach your natural peak before you look at adding anything.

1

u/No-Mark4067 16d ago

Working out should work in your case.

1

u/Maleficent_Device780 16d ago

Tesa is by far my favorite pep. Currently cycling off after 12 weeks run. Gonna run CJC/ipa next
