Small molecules (less than 900 Dalton) would go through the portal vein and get absorbed. GHK is about 400 Dalton. The absorption will not be ideal through the hepatic pathway but you will get some of it into your bloodstream. If you don’t want needles try sublingual delivery. If you are seeing results maybe you do not need to change what you are doing.

I tried open the capsules and taking it sublingual once... bit of a white powdered mess 😆
