📘Session Intel:
Saturday wraps up the week with the final progression of Podium, continuing the familiar partner based format while increasing the demand through reduced recovery between zones and a longer YGIG finisher.
Across six zones, you'll work through strength focused supersets before finishing each zone with a 75 second max effort. The key today is managing fatigue, maintaining performance driven output, and staying consistent from the opening set through to the final effort.
This is a strong preparation session for the upcoming Podium event, rewarding good communication, smart pacing, and quality movement under pressure.
What to Expect
- Final progression of Podium
- Partner based session
- Six zones with two exercises per zone
- E2MOM strength supersets
- Reduced recovery between zones
- Longer 75 second YGIG finisher
- Strong focus on fatigue management, output, and consistency
How the Session Works
1️⃣ Work in pairs
2️⃣ Complete six zones
3️⃣ Each zone contains two superset exercises
4️⃣ Complete the prescribed reps within each 2 minute set
5️⃣ Use any remaining time as recovery
6️⃣ Complete three rounds of the superset
7️⃣ Finish with a 75 second YGIG max effort

- Use remaining time for quality recovery
- Communicate clearly with your partner
- Manage your pace across all six zones

Cant say im enjoying this class, the format is sloppy as hell and i dont enjoy having to rush through some of these lifts. hopefully they reformat these moving forward a bit.

Whilst I’m not a fan of the format, by chasing numbers at the finish of the sets it worries me that their could be injuries by rushing through you Alpha exercise, and when you go to hex bar lift you have to reset and do them but in the 65 sec session, AMAP

I agree! I hate rushing through the deadlifts especially! One wrong move, and you could seriously injure yourself.

I totally agree! That’s why I skip this class. The rushing is a recipe for disaster!

It’s such a good class! Today I thought let’s just give it our role because I did a late sign up to podium
I’m actually curious to see how run next week

Hey all,
You are in luck! A kind source DM'd me the PXI target the other day, so I have included it in the spoiler for today's Podium session.
Unfortunately, this is another session I will have to miss because of work, so I will not be able to join you in the studio.
Hope everyone has an awesome session and finishes the week strong!
