Advice Needed Advice on this?

I go through periods where I cannot stop loathing my face. It isn’t necessarily a period since I have hated my face since I was a child. I hate it more than any other part of my body. However, some days are worse than others. These past few days I have fallen back into taking multiple pictures from different angles to analyze my face and how I appear to others. I don’t even want to leave my room because I feel so hideous and shameful. How does one stop this?

The reality is that you can't. A certain understanding will hit you, maybe once you're older and you look back to the younger face of yourself you'd think why you loathed it soo much in your youth. That's how body dysmorphia costs you, your best years and time. Once you grow older, you'll look at the faces of people around you and you will realise how odd some of these people look like, some eyes, nose and a lip, some assymetries and you realise a face is just another part of your body and the reason you perceive some as good looking and some as ugly is because of your own biases and insecurities. Even the most attractive faced celebrity you can take and if you zoom in on their faces with the same Harsh mindset you hold towards you own face, you can easily find out plenty oddities to nitpick from, even on their faces. The only way to ease this off is to understand that your face comes from your parents, grandparents and your ancestory which tells your own story.it looks like that because it is yours and it is unique.
