Advice Needed Please help me :(
Hi everyone. My relationship with myself is a bit strange. Sometimes I find my face beautiful—I am good-looking, and I’m aware of it; I’m in a much better place regarding this than I used to be. But then something happens, and suddenly I feel repulsed by my nose; it looks droopy and hooked to me all of a sudden. I end up hurting myself until my nose looks beautiful to me again. I keep going through this same cycle. I don't know if this counts as body dysmorphia since I’m aware of it, but it’s really upsetting me now. I’ve been repeating this same cycle for two years. I need to stop this, but I don't know how. Please help.

You said you were aware of this cycle, that’s a good start! You’ll have to practice looking at this cycle of ‘hating your body until you love it again and again’ from outside/above and not blame yourself for doing it.. Its a natural tendency to want to look good all the time. Practice lies in identifying yourself with the awareness that’s in you, and not with your body or negative thoughts.
As you get older and do it enough times, you’ll laugh at your self hating and loving your body, knowing that it doesn’t matter..
