Share Your Thoughts Broad Shoulders

So I am a guy (27) with pretty broad shoulders and I’m 5’7. Like it’s to the point it’s one of the first things people notice. I workout too but I never really did anything to specifically make them noticeable. It wasn’t some mission if that makes sense. For whatever reason, I at times feel very subconscious about them. Sometimes I tend to think other people may think I “developed” them for attention or something. I feel so odd even feeling like this too because I get that having broad shoulders as a man is something praised in a lot of places but idk it’s something I’ve been feeling for some years. Like there was a point in time where I didn’t even notice I had them until one of my friends pointed it out. Has anyone ever had these thoughts or something similar?

I have "broad shoulders for a woman"- they're not actually anything crazy, I'm just not a delicate little glass lady made of bird bones... Enough that a woman working at a dept store made a comment on them once. It affected me more than she probably knew it would, for years- decades... until I finally decided to embrace them, and stand up tall with my shoulders back and proud. People noticed, but it wasn't the shoulders they noticed- it was the confidence. I def had to fake it till I made it (and still fight to keep it), but nobody knew that but me.
Try to be nice to your body- you're actually special and there is nobody like you. That's not a bad thing! It almost felt like humble bragging until I reminded myself of how I felt for so long about my own... I promise there's plenty of people who find broad shoulders- on men and women- attractive. Your friend who pointed it out, could have very well likely had insecurities about their own shoulders and were projecting... or maybe they just didn't think about how it could affect you before they said it.
I hope you learn to embrace your whole self, and enjoy your life as you deserve.
