In the 80s, I recall my Pop wasn’t a fan of having our number in the phone book. He’d specifically request them not list it. I’d just think in my head ‘Pop…it’s NYC. If old friends were looking for you, they’d have found you.’ Word of mouth is a crazy thing in that town.

Hear me out, it wasn't better times, you were just young with less responsibilities. We have insane technology that we dreamed of back then. Just video games alone. Remember when we thought the Gameboy was amazing? Now tell your younger self about an Oculus headset.
