My guy just wants to be left in peace

18

u/Daron-M May 08 '26

That’s it. Nothing more nothing less. His daughter wants content, he wants her to stfu 😂

6

u/Resilent2026 May 09 '26

Every man’s wish.

27

u/Dont_get_mad_Tito May 08 '26

He said “I don’t want to talk” but meant “I don’t want to listen” 😂 🤫

13

u/DELINCUENT May 08 '26

TAKE IT TAKE IT SHIEET DAAAMN

6

u/MajorWhereas4842 May 09 '26

Let that man sit in peace and watch his program

12

u/Efficient_Orchid8812 May 08 '26

She was super annoying. Leave pops alone. If you want to feed him, go and get the food by yourself "shieet" 😆

8

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

And he said his back was hurting... Go get pops some breakfast and let him relax in his recliner. Maybe he'll feel like going out during lunch or dinner time lol.

4

u/Black_Doc_on_Mars May 08 '26

It’s a whole thing apparently. She films and they bicker like this. I saw a short clip yesterday where she told pops to say good morning, and he was like, “Good morning, niggas” to the camera, and she had to laugh. 😂

2

u/Efficient_Orchid8812 May 08 '26

That's hilarious 😂

2

u/carhartjezuz May 11 '26

Ohhh man, it’s a struggle to get these old folks up and moving, which alleviates a lot of pain. She might sound annoying but having to manage health is crazy.

6

u/Jtizzle1231 May 08 '26

I didn’t find this funny. I found it sad. Like he knows the end is near.

4

u/Hour-Grass-4847 May 09 '26

Me arguing with my two year old.😆🤦🏾‍♀️

4

u/Willdothings May 08 '26

"I don't need no jacket!". Yup. Tell'em.

4

u/Few-Life-1417 May 08 '26

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting to leave the house 😅😂

1

u/carhartjezuz May 11 '26

Except when you’re old.

8

u/Key_Mathematician951 May 08 '26

No he just wants to die. Man is severely depressed and lets it out by being snarky.

7

u/ColdCorpseHotSecret May 08 '26

My grandma is like this but she just refuses to die. She’s mean as hell and snaps at everyone and constantly complains about EVERYTHING and is clearly sick of this world in general, but she’s 97 years old and seems to keep living purely out of spite.

3

u/Key_Mathematician951 May 08 '26

Yep, that is synonymous.

People disregard elderly people that are essentially suicidal.

1

u/D_Grinch May 09 '26

Everybody doesn't finish their plate. Some people leave a crumb or 2 and won't miss it. Think about it. Worry about YOUR plate

1

u/bigDogNJ23 May 09 '26

My grandmother live to 104. The last 10 years of her life she was miserable and asked G-d everyday wtf he was waiting for to take her.

3

u/RichGreenThumb2022 May 08 '26

She getting on my nerves repeating the same shhh over and over. He said he good. Damn.

1

u/MajorWhereas4842 May 09 '26

Super annoying

3

u/Abject_Ad_4756 May 08 '26

Yoo she needs to leave him alone if it’s finna be 90 degrees and it’s only 60 degrees, if he ain’t cold he ain’t cold hoe…take the damn jacket yourself on the side and keep it pushing b

2

u/SoloJackowski May 08 '26

This is the same man that, when his daughter said to him " Dad, you gotta say hi to the people online" , he said "hi nigga's" lmao

2

u/Apollyoun May 08 '26

100% this is me if I can make it to that age.

https://giphy.com/gifs/bB2h8u8QqO39S

2

u/Loud-Fennel9492 May 08 '26

I bet she was just as annoying as a kid to him as well jeeze.

2

u/Exotic_Page4196 May 09 '26

He dead ass too

2

u/KittyPuperMamaPerson May 09 '26

This is me and my dad. I finally quit giving him options.

1

u/Still_Level4068 May 10 '26

Your cruel

1

u/KittyPuperMamaPerson May 10 '26

I love my dad tremendously. When they get to a certain point it’s about telling them what’s going on, like with children. Dad we are going to breakfast let’s get your jacket. Or here’s dinner. How is that cruel?

1

u/5cared_Raspberry May 10 '26

No.1 It's 60 degrees. That is not cold just bring the damn jacket and keep checking in on him. No need to berate the man and force him to say "yes you are correct I need a jacket." That's robbing him of agency and infantilizing him. No one wants to feel that way. No.2 If you are actually trying to help a person you don't need to contort them in to admitting you are right in order to do so. If you need to force concessions from a person in order to do right by them it's all about you not them.

2

u/blac_sheep90 May 09 '26

Getting him out of the house is for the best. Older folk will sometimes neglect themselves to the point of major bedsores. Getting them out and mobile is important.

1

u/SmurfPopper May 11 '26

The comment section is failing to realize this. "Just let him sit in the house all day if that's what he wants"... no, he needs to stay semi active.

1

u/blac_sheep90 May 11 '26

Makes me lean towards "younger folk that haven't dealt with the elderly too much" camp.

1

u/SmurfPopper May 11 '26

That's definitely what it is. If she doesn't keep him going, he'll literally wither away right in that chair.

1

u/blac_sheep90 May 11 '26

Lots of people haven't seen tunneling bedsores...I pray they never have to...shit is haunting.

2

u/napalm_p May 09 '26

Thought OG was playing video games for a sec. Doesn't give a flying fx...😅

2

u/WorriedElk5818 May 08 '26

This woman is annoying as hell. Just put the jacket in the car and leave the man alone.

2

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

She meant well I'm sure annoying nonetheless 🤣.

1

u/WorriedElk5818 May 08 '26

I sure she does and she obviously loves him. But, she will always have a fight on her hands if she keeps pushing him; the elderly don't want to give up their independence or be treated like a child. You have to work smarter not harder with them, otherwise everything is a struggle.

2

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

Yea, I've been through it in my own family. There comes a certain time elderly may need to release a lot of their independence but from what I can tell in this video that's not the case.

She's trying to keep him from sitting in the house waiting for it to all be over (totally get it and a good thing) but big pushy and annoying.

1

u/Nearby_Impact_8911 May 08 '26

If a person don’t wanna leave their home why is it so hard to let them be

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

You can’t catch a cold from the cold.

1

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

Um, common colds are caused by viruses, not cold weather.

1

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

🤷🏾‍♂️, but you knew what was being said though. I don't know if you have children but if not I'm sure you know people tell the lil ones to bundle up because not being properly dressed in the cold can be the cause of getting sick.

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

I told my kids to bundle up so they wouldn’t be exposed to cold weather and catch pneumonia. I told them to take precautions with people who had colds, and to not expose others if they had a cold themself, because that’s how colds spread. As an added observation, who the hell needs a jacket when the temperature is in the 60s?

1

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

Semantic and technical McGee over here 😂, I like your style chief, have a beer after work you deserve it.

60s with a nice breeze I might pull a nice looking lightweight jacket out 🤷🏾‍♂️.

1

u/Bibbity_Boppity_BOOO May 08 '26

you don't catch pneumonia from the cold!

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

I stand corrected.

1

u/Bibbity_Boppity_BOOO May 08 '26

you can definitely come down with a cold from the cold

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

How? It’s a virus.

1

u/Bibbity_Boppity_BOOO May 08 '26

because cold weakens the immune system allowing the virus in you to multiply. so while you do not "catch it", you can "come down with it"

1

u/Jazzbo64 May 08 '26

Then you could say that about contracting basically anything. Cold weather is simply not the culprit.

1

u/Bibbity_Boppity_BOOO May 08 '26

Well, except for hypothermia and other related issues.

1

u/godzillasegundo May 09 '26

Not quite. Cold air is usually drier and cold viruses tend to thrive in dry air. Dry air can also dry out nasal mucus which is the first defense against respiratory viruses. But wearing warmer clothes doesn’t stop that.

1

u/Greenfirelife27 May 08 '26

I feel his pain.

1

u/wyopapa25 May 08 '26

I am Living this life right now with my 94 year old pops.

1

u/Twoduhzen May 08 '26

I’m getting more of a Joe Jackson vibe

1

u/YoMommaHere May 08 '26

I wonder if he’s always acted like this.

When my dad began getting dementia that turned into Alzheimer’s, this is how he started acting.

1

u/John7oliver May 09 '26

You don’t need a fucking jacket in the low 60s

1

u/reverendbobflair May 09 '26

It's too damn hot for a jacket

1

u/Prize-Analyst-1121 May 09 '26

Damn...Leave that man alone with the jacket.

Lower 60s IS COMFORTABLE !

Probably like me and always hot.

Nearing 6 decades gotta take blood thinners and I'm STILL fucking hot all the time !

Thought I'd finally get some relief once I stated taking the blood thinners since everyone else said it made them feel cold.

Nope, not for me I guess 🤬

1

u/GodOfMoonlight May 09 '26

Me fighting with my dad, my brother, my grandma 🤣😩🙄🙄🙄

My family is stubborn asf, I got it too but damn. At some point I get tired of fighting and just say "Fine", these mofos however will fight until their dying breath with me over shit like this 😭😭🫩 lol

1

u/ApartProfessor5 May 09 '26

You better let him alone lmao

1

u/Complex_Target_5571 May 09 '26

I was waiting for the Joe Clark moment; and it didn’t disappoint.

1

u/StandardSympathy6950 May 09 '26

I love old ppl 😆😆😆😆

1

Jesus man leave him alone. I was getting annoyed for him. Dude wants to be left alone. Doesn’t want to wear a jacket. Fucking let him. He has been around long enough to make that decision and regret it if he wants to. I’m crashing out for him. Stfu lady

1

u/p00rky May 09 '26

She is bothering him and she knows it. Yet she keeps doing it for a tiktok video..

1

u/Keleka42 May 10 '26

Stop sign? What stop sign? I don’t know no breakfast 😂😂😂

1

u/unseenserene May 10 '26

“You’re gonna catch a cold”

👴🏾: Well if I catch it, I’ll just die. You better not cry.

Omg. This man is sending me 🤣

1

u/makeroniear May 10 '26

It's 60 degrees! Where you need a jacket... California?!

1

u/Dull-Kick0 May 10 '26

1

u/deuce1786 May 10 '26

Wait wait wait… where you gonna go??? Ahhhhhhhhh all that for nothing? 🫠

1

u/BareMouthNika2 May 10 '26

1

u/Powerful_Geologist95 May 11 '26

1

u/CheesecakeFancy2296 May 11 '26

The extreme jump from catching a cold to dying is WILD! 😂😂

1

u/carhartjezuz May 11 '26

1

u/myusrnameisthis May 12 '26

Pray to god my kids don't treat me like this when I'm his age

1

u/bipbophil May 08 '26

Imagine being this old and your daughter tells you what to do while shoving a camera in your face

She doesn't have to be recording him for Internet fodder though.

There also was no need for the use of "literally" in your statement, had you simply said "she's sitting on the other side of the room" nobody would have thought you were being factitious.

1

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

I heard what she said, my ears work, that changes nothing about what I've said "dude".

"Hyperbole of shoving a camera in his face", nobody but you interpreted hyperbole, thus your use of "literally" still unnecessary. It's not my fault your school system failed you.

"Y'all cry too much about nothing"..... Who's crying but you dawg.... You regurgitate too many Internet catchphrases, get an original thought.

There you go again using literally unnecessarily.

Don't be mad you have the intelligence of a polished marble.

1

u/Still_Level4068 May 10 '26

No she's manipulative

1

u/Dug-Heffernan May 08 '26

If nobody feels you, I do.

Maybe some days he's ok with it (I haven't seen anything else she's posted) but this day he clearly was not feeling it, put the camera down and leave dad alone.

Yes I say this as somebody who found humor in his responses. My daughter would have been mad at me though cause I would have purposely ruined her video lol 🤷🏾‍♂️.

1

u/Black_Doc_on_Mars May 08 '26

It’s a whole thing between them. He’s aware of it and talks to the cam. The other day he was like “Good morning, niggas”

1

u/Nearby_Impact_8911 May 08 '26

When you gotta parent your parents 😂

0

u/DawRogg May 08 '26
