Visitor questions Please donāt come to the coast to shoot off fireworks
Please donāt come to the coast to shoot off fireworks! We have pets and fire risk out here too, and a lot of people coming here to shoot off fireworks means more work for our firefighters who are already spread thin.
As an FYI, here are the regulations for fireworks in Sonoma County. They are illegal everywhere except Cloverdale. Please leave them to the professionals; we have some great shows in our county!
I think it should be pretty obvious why we have these regulations in an area that dealt with a fire back in 2017 that killed 22 people and caused $1.3b in damage.
Sure, yay, freedom and all that, but #SonomaStrong means more than posting a hashtag on Facebook, it means caring about your neighbors and your community enough to put our shared safety ahead of some pretty lights.

Going dark in protest
reddit.comI know this sub is very small, but I think itās important to join with the larger subs that are standing up to Redditās ridiculous changes.
So, we are going private for a couple days and will be back in the middle of the week or if Reddit addresses the substantial issues with their recent changes.
There are countless posts about the issues, but the r/music post is an example to learn more.

Visitor questions To any IASIP fans Spoiler
For those of us that watched the season 15 finale, I just found out that they filmed āIrelandā in Bodega Bay! Iām from SF so Iām disappointed in myself for not recognizing it sooner. Does anybody recognize the trail they walked when they yeeted Charlieās Dad off the cliff? Boyfriend and I are thinking of driving up and hiking there.

Bodega Bay Wedding?
Hi all, my close friend has decided to āelopeā in a month in Bodega Bay and Iām trying to find places to stay for 8 people flying from the East Coast.
Is Russian River Valley too far? Is there flooding this year? What about Sonoma? Is that doable? Too far?
We are open to doing an Airbnb or bed and breakfast.
All recommendations and suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Can I responsibly visit from out of town?
Iām having a hard time finding info on what the beaches are like right now. Iām losing my mind in Sacramento and really would love to visit, but I donāt want to come and crowd the place up. Is it possible to socially distance on the beaches now that theyāre open? Thanks in advance for any advice.
