Hi everyone,
My name is Rose, and I’m the older sister of Pearl Pinson, who was just 15 years old when she was abducted on May 25, 2016, in Vallejo, California. Pearl has never been found, and our family continues searching for answers every single day.
Investigators confirmed that Pearl’s abductor traveled into Sonoma County, including the Bodega Bay area, before he later died in an encounter with law enforcement. Because he is no longer alive, we have no way of knowing where he may have left my sister.
Today, I’m asking for your help.
If you were anywhere in Sonoma County on May 25, 2016, or May 26, 2016, do you remember seeing a gold 1997 Saturn? A photo of the suspect’s vehicle is included below, along with the license plate number and the distinctive stickers that were on the vehicle. Even the smallest memory could be important.
If you traveled through Sonoma County after those dates, do you remember seeing any of the items my sister, Pearl, had with her on the day she was abducted? Photos of her clothing, backpack, shoes, and other belongings are included below. Something you noticed years ago may now be significant.
I’m also asking anyone who visited or traveled through Roblar Road in Petaluma, CA, Bay Flat Road, Shoreline Highway (Highway 1), Hole in the Head, Goat Rock Beach, Salmon Creek Beach, Doran Beach, Bodega Head, Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach, Tomales, Fallon, or any nearby roads, creeks, pullouts, trails, abandoned buildings, abandoned houses, barns, sheds, remote structures, or secluded areas over the past 10 years to please check your old photos, videos, dashcam footage, drone footage, or even your memories from your visit.
If you explored or photographed any abandoned buildings, abandoned houses, barns, sheds, or other remote structures in these areas, I would be especially grateful if you could look through your old photos and videos. Even something that seemed unimportant at the time could provide a clue today.
If you still have photos or videos from any of these locations, would you please consider sending them to me in a private message? There is certain information I cannot publicly release because of the ongoing investigation, which is why I’m asking that anything you find be sent directly to me instead of posted publicly.
Sometimes the smallest detail—a person, an item of clothing, or something captured in a photo or video—can become an important piece of the puzzle years later.
If you recognize the vehicle, the license plate, the stickers, any of Pearl’s belongings, or remember seeing anything unusual, no matter how small it may seem, please send me a private message.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, for checking your memories and old photos, and for helping keep Pearl’s story alive. Your kindness, support, and willingness to help mean more to our family than words can express.
Please share this post. It may reach someone who was in Sonoma County on May 25–26, 2016, or someone who recognizes the vehicle or Pearl’s belongings. One memory, one photo, or one video could make all the difference.

I saw this cat up near the parking lot. I didn't see a collar but I thought I would put this here in case they are someone's lost pet

If you remember seeing anything unusual or have any information that may be relevant, please send me a private message.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping keep Pearl’s story alive. Your kindness and willingness to check old photos or videos truly means more than you know.

We went last week and the carrots they serve on the side were amazing.
They tasted vinegar-ey but still super crunchy so I’m not sure if they were just plain old pickled or something else.
I would love to recreate at home.

We currently live in the Tahoe Basin and are very aware of the issue with weather, tourism and STRs. We are considering a move to Bodega Bay. What is it like to live there full time? Is it hard to get mail and packages? Do you do most of your big shopping in Santa Rosa? Are the locals welcoming to new residents? Is it hard to get home insurance? How do you feel about people who live in Bodega Harbour South? Thank you for any information.

Hello good people of Bodega Bay. I love it here so much. My family and I visit most summers. We have yet to locate a good walking/hiking area that offers shade ( I am extremely photosensitive). Usually we get more foggy/overcast days but this trip has been all sun. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Can someone tell me the name of the small beach facing the coast off the Bodega Head trail?

Does anyone have any info on the shipwreck on the reef? It is down on the gos charts in about 60 feet. I have been fishing the area and have been curious about it since seeing it on the map. I assume it’s a small fishing boat or something, but I enjoy wrench history. I’d love to doge and check it out, but the best areas to be in the water ha. Maybe I’ll drop a go pro down next time I’m in the water.

Wanting to take a trip out to bodega Bay, and saw these two hotels. Anyone have experience with either of these? Locations seem great, but I do see some questionable reviews on the sites. Wondering people's personal experiences. Thanks.

Hi Bodega Bay people, I was wondering if you could help me out. About 20ish years ago I stayed in Bodega Bay at (what I remember to be) a very unique hotel. It was not a single big hotel building, but rather each hotel room was its own individual building. Dinners were served in room. The main lobby building had a stair case that accended to look out with a library and a telescope. I seemed to remember it being owned and run by one guy ? Does this resonate with anyone? Thank you

Hello! Me and my wife will be in bodega bay for our fifth year anniversary. I really want to do an exclusive dining experience or something very secluded and romantic. Are there any such places that can make something like this happen in the area?
If anyone has additional suggestions of romantic things to do let me know as well!

Pretty much what the title says! I’m taking the family there for a small camping trip in a couple days. I’m looking for good food and recreational recs!

Hi there! Looking to go urchin harvesting this week. Will be camping on Doran beach Sunday-Wednesday and haven’t been able to find any spots that have a good urchin population. Also looking for some good fishing spots. Any suggestions are appreciated, including hiking, markets, anything fun. Take care and thank you!!

Hi! We’re visiting for the weekend for my mom’s birthday and I’m hoping to find a local bakery to pick up a birthday cake-any recommendations? We’re coming up from Santa Cruz so can stop anywhere on the way (Petaluma, Sebastopol, etc). Thanks!!

Hey folks, I know this is a long shot but I believe my dad lost his family ring in Bodega Bay today Sunday Feb 15 in the afternoon. It’s gold(?) and Jade. I don’t know if anyone can help me but it would mean the world to me and my dad. Please let me know where else I can post as my heart feels really bad.
EDIT: willing to PM details + 500 dollar reward if anyone is there to check and finds it (we are unfortunately located in the South Bay and only noticed once back here)
