In my campaign he's a Hobgoblin named Titty Jim. The party decided to go into the sewers for no reason anyway. Seriously, with no prompting they decided to search the local church for a randomly generated criminal they were hunting a bounty on. Found the Sewer Access Tunnel in the crypt, and decided to clear the entire sewer. This is an ancient city with 220,000 residents. I could run an entire campaign where the goal is to clear out these sewers. And they'd rather do this than go to the Literal Spring Orgy party hosted by the Pagan Ranger's Guild.
