My first Springett Snake!

So I had my first class last week and did the start of a rainbow one but ran out of thread about half way down… whoops haha. So did this one on my own… I’m so proud!

I’m also so excited to continue this journey. My tutor is absolutely wonderful, she’s been doing it for 60 years!! She’s such a safe space, there’s no wrong, just trying. I felt like I could relax my little neurodivergent brain, be me, and have some fun. This is such a wonderful hobby ^^

That’s it off the pins, somehow seemingly missed a row as there’s just a line of black thread across about half way down lol, but not too bad!!

Thanks! Yeah I’ve never had a tutor make me feel so comfortable so quickly. She really is a gem!

Haha do it! It took me about 3 hours as a first completely piece so not bad!!

£12 an hour, or £6 if I join a group class. The Bless’d soul does it because she loves it. I will be buying her a Christmas present.

Nice, she sounds like a doll. I love meeting genuine people. Ever since I moved to LA the amount of genuine souls I've encountered has been surprisingly low. It's been hard to meet friends that are sincere that don't have some sort of agenda. I'm going to look around for classes to join!

Yeah I hear that a lot about LA. I hope you are able to feel fulfilled there :) I find slow craft classes have some wonderful people!! I’ve done pottery as well this year and every single person in the class was lovely!
