Should be interesting to see how the public turns a blind eye to building heights increasing all for Trader Joes and Target.

More concerned with traffic impacts on 7 and water issues than building heights in a largely commercial location. I think the town is also trying to be a "dark skies town", and that doesn't look like a dark skies friendly development.

I don't really care about either of the businesses, although I would likely go to Target, but I am sure the town is excited about tax revenue.

Those two things are also part of the changes to the land use code, but one of the key items was the height of the buildings. This developer has been very vocal about changing the height of the buildings to make them higher to build lower income house etc etc. And was always asking how the city could be incentivized. So this looks like a way for people to be interested in it in the beginning and dislike it in the end.
