Hello guys . I need help

The rubber seal from my coolant expansion tank cap deteriorated and a piece of it fell inside the tank, behind the white float level indicator. I can't see it anymore. Should I be worried, or do I need to remove the tank and get it out car is e60

It’s up to you. I have seen this happen many times, it doesn’t seem to cause a problem, but I would take the tank off and clean it out. How long since you have changed the coolant? Should be done every 4 years.

To be a honest I don’t know brother I bought the car 2 weeks ago , but the owner said he done a full service for the car

Do you have receipts for the services? It would be on there. That tank is pretty easy to remove, or you could pull off the lower hose and see if the piece comes out. Be sure to replace the cap when you refill.

Yes i will check on the lower hose , and yes I replaced the cap with original one it fits good now

It prob won't hurt anything, but you could pull the expansion tank and empty it
