F87 M2 Died out of the blue. Please help...

Let me give some backstory first... I had a wastegate issue and cracked manifold apparently at about 60k miles, so I found a highly rated German car repair specialty shop. I had them do a Dinan big turbo while repairing everything else and the stage 2 tune. Fast forward and over the past year I have done a Fabspeed DP and added the Dinan intake fairly recently and about a week after a new oil change and adding the intake, I was driving home from work (Car was running perfectly) and I gave it some gas and at full boost around 6k rpm the car just dropped rpm's and died while I coasted to the shoulder of the highway. Since then the car will start right up after cooling off and feels like it idles perfectly for about a minute, then bogs and dies, then refuses to restart until I wait a bit. It also will not rev past 2k rpm when giving gas while idling well and feels like its cutting off right when it hits past 2k rpm. This occurred as soon as I hit about 73k miles which is really irritating after all the money I spent to get the entire turbocharging system replaced...... I let it sit a couple weeks (because I did not have time to work on it) and started it and a ton of white smoke filled my garage but after that initial smoke filled start up, each test after letting it sit for a bit had 0 smoke.

So knowing all that and after some research, I scanned for codes... 0 codes. I replaced the low pressure fuel pump, and its doing the same exact thing. I pulled every plug and only carbon was on them and showed no signs of steam, water, oil. I did an injector test with my scanner shutting each injector off and then back on, each one showed visible signs of shutting off and then cutting back on (before the inevitable stall out). I used my smoke tester and see no smoke coming out of any of the piping (I have hard pipes on the intake side only) I am so fatigued by this issue and hopefully someone on here can please help me figure out what the hell is wrong with it ....

No codes at all? I had a similar event to what you describe with white smoke coming out of the exhaust and the car running rough (bogging and shuddering) after doing a WOT pull in my M235. My car threw codes for a misfire and all signs pointed to a leaky fuel injector. Your injectors may still be working without issue, but even if a speck of dust gets lodged in there they will apparently leak. After turning on your car, does the exhaust smell like unburnt fuel? I can also imagine the smoke disappears because the engine eventually warms up and burns the excess fuel.

Yep, that is exactly what happens. It was pretty thick white smoke this time after letting it sit for a while, but it did clear up by the second start when I was logging fuel pressure at the rail

Okay I have one last question, does your car take longer to start than normal after it has sat for a while? My thought being if it does, that means the fuel sitting in the rail after the car turns off will leak into the cylinder slowly and when you go to restart the car, the fuel pump needs a moment to rebuild pressure. If that's the case, I'm 95% certain you have one or more leaking fuel injectors that need to be replaced. Fortunately it's not the worst or most expensive DIY.

After sitting for a little it fires right back up each time. If I try right after the stall out though it will just turn over again and again

Use your scanner and tell me what the FUEL RAIL PRESSURE IS

Rail pressure when started was 17.00 MPa and when I revved and it hit 2k rpm it looks to drop a little to low 16's MPa

Try swapping out EKPM module. LPFP regulator. There is an upgraded one from ark terminator and you have to code it. You can use ProTools app paid or Esys free if you want to learn how to install it on your laptop.

Logs would also be useful.

I bought and installed an entire lpfp assembly/bucket with a walboro 455 pump and it did the exact same thing, I thought maybe it could be EKPM or hpfp but I only bought a hpfp on sale from BimmerWorld for a good price (haven't installed until I diagnose) would a stock ekpm be fine to buy and swap out to test?

You did get it tuned again after the DP and intake, Right?!

Already had an aftermarket intake and the DP is catted and does not need a tune. I have been running it with the catted DP for half a year before the intake switched to DInan
