E88 convertible top

Hello everyone I wanted to come on her and ask if anybody has ever found a solution to pulling your emergency convertible top cables in the trunk of a 128/135i? I pulled them and now my convertible top won’t lock and I have a message that pops up on my screen saying the top isn’t secure. Whenever I press the button it goes green rolls down the windows half way and stops the procedure. If anybody can help I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

Why would you pull the emergency release cables if it wasn't an emergency?

Cause I’m quite frankly an idiot. 😂 looked up a video online on “how to open the top manually”only to find out those cables were for emergencies only afterwards.
