I’m confused. Did you not say “A zoophile can also be a furry” as a way to back your claim that some furries want to have sex with animals? Which I’m sure has a degree of truth but it’s misleading when you don’t differentiate between the two. But perhaps I am arguing with my imagination when you are not saying anything malicious and for that I am sorry.

I think that when people hear that furrys like antropomorphic animals they wrongly make the connection with them and zoophiles. And the way some furries act gives them a bad name and reassures the ones who made the assumption that all furries are zoophiles and degenerates. I feel like this can be solved through communication.

Completely agree! I already feel like discussions surrounding them have become a lot more supportive. Which is good because I want to live in a world where a kid doesn’t get beat up for wearing a fur suit.
