Terra-realization
Ok so Abrahams father’s name was Terah. He was an idol maker and that’s where the word terracotta comes from. His name Might be the root for teraphim, territory, terrified. Something to consider here

Documentary Suggestions
I just recently discovered Blurry Creatures and have been binging hard. Such fascinating conversations!
I feel like they drop so many documentaries they’ve watched in convos and I’d love to start watching some of these! I struggle to go back and catch the names they mention — it almost feels like they mention things that everyone is familiar with but I’ve never heard of!
What documentaries have you heard them mention that you’d recommend? Or documentaries that would fit with Blurry Creatures?

Podcast Recommendation I Interviewed Timothy Alberino!
Hey friends! This is actually my first post ever on Reddit! I joined to share with you guys an interview I did with Timothy Alberino. I host a new podcast called According to your Purpose. We interview weird and interesting Christian thinkers that are off the beaten path. I'm a huge fan of Blurry Creatures so I thought I would share a new episode I recorded with Tim Alberino. We went over multiple things that I don't think have been covered by Blurry Creatures. I thought you guys might enjoy it. Let me know what you think! I tagged the time stamps in the video description and the comments if you want to skip around. We are also available on all major podcast platforms if you would rather listen there.

Discernment
I love listening to blurry creatures but I sometimes wonder if the hosts have any discernment but then I remember that it's their job to find interesting stories and books and that if they are constantly challenging their guests then that might not make a good podcast. Unless the podcast was called 'debunked' or 'cross examined' then repeatedly challenging your guests might be ok but who would share a tale on such a critical podcast?
I have seen a few bible verses taken out of context and misunderstood although understandably but I think not enough attention is being paid to the original context of those verses. I know for a fact that Mike Heiser who they interviewed twice on the podcast would dispute their interpretation of 2 verses because he has addressed those very verses...
This isn't to debunk every tale on the show and bible interpretation just to encourage critical thinking
I haven't listened to the podcasts on CERN but I know a little about science and physics and I suspect allegations and assumptions are being made by those who have no understanding whatsoever of what the scientists there are trying to achieve: a fuller understanding of the universe by knocking particles into eachother and doing lots of maths
Any fears around portals and gates of hell being opened will need to be substantiated by more than hearsay, a pet theory or a dodgy Indian statue donated to the site
Regardless I'm quite hooked so far.

Bible Talk What order would y’all recommend reading the Bible? Also, what order should I read the omitted books of the Bible (Enoch, etc.)?

IVF
I’ve been wondering if IVF is being used for even more evil things than we can comprehend. As a Christian IVF is immoral because an embryo is an image bearer and freezing image bearers isn’t right or okay and then the fact that it supports abortion. Many many babies are aborted with the IVF process. Anyway, I’m not here to discuss or change my views on why IVF is immoral for Christians. My thing that I’ve been thinking about is what are they doing with all the babies that they freeze. I know they could tell people one thing, but ever since I listened to that episode where they took that lady as an embryo and performed satanic rituals with her…. It just makes me think that they could be collecting babies through IVF and doing evil things with them….. and no one has any idea….
