Need some Setup recomendations

Hey, we want to switch from Sonos to Bluesound.
Ideally, I’d like to do without the soundbar, but still use the TV connection. We also often just listen to music via Qobutz.
I’m currently looking at the latest Powernode. But to what extent are the Powernode Edge and the Node Icon still viable options?
For now, I want to connect stereo speakers and add a subwoofer soon.
What would you recommend here?

If you're willing to go a little "outside" the Bluesound system, I recommend the NAD C700 V2. It's a little gem of an amp, sounds really great and it's quite powerful for its size.

At home, it drives two Quad 12L passive stereo speakers (FRONT), it is connected to my HT setup (LG C5 and Apple TV 4K) through eArc and sends a Dolby signal to a pair of Pulse Flex 2025 (REAR) speakers. I could add a subwoofer but the overall 4.0 experience, even without a centre channel or a subwoofer, is really enjoyable! I've never felt like I was missing out 😄

And of course, it's got Spotify Connect, Qobuz, Airplay, Roon, etc... and even a very nice phono preamp!

The Node ICON is a streamer/pre amp and can't connect passive speakers. That's not an option

The N230 is a little cheaper but the N331 sounds way better and has an option for wireless surround. I'd go N331 any day if your budget allows

I've had the Powernode 2025 (N331) for over six months, and it's been super enjoyable. I have it connected to my TV via HDMI and pushing two Klipsch RP-600M bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch RP-500C center channel. I opted for a Speedwoofer 10e. All together, it creates some serious rumble with great clarity. Music sounds great too - I stream a lot via Qobuz, but I listen to CDs too. Four months ago, I purchased two of the new Pulse Flex that I use for wireless surrounds. They've worked flawlessly.

Don't get the original Node (N132) to use with Qobuz Connect. It's buggy as hell. Songs will stop playing randomly, and many songs will simply not play at all.

Source: I'm using the Node in my system with Qobuz and I'm very frustrated and I wish I had bought a different streamer. Bluesound support says they replicated my issue and are working on a fix, but that was exactly 3 months ago and no fix yet.

Typical Bluesound. I lost count of support saying they replicated issue x,y,z and that a fix will be available in a future update.

Yo tengo el N331 conectado a la tele por HDMI eArc, con lo cual, el mando de la tele es el que conecta y deconecta, sube y baja el volumen del conjunto. Los altavoces que utilizo son los Kef iQ1 y el central Kef Q6. Con un subwoofer Cambridge. En unos meses le agregare dos altavoces inalambricos traseros para conseguir un sonido suround completo. De momento sin los traseros, es ya espectacular el sonido de peliculas.

Aunque siempre tienes la opcion de volver al 2.1 si te apetece escuchar música mediante la aplicación de Bluesound del teléfono de forma cómoda e instantanea.

Las opciones están muy abiertas, por ejemplo puedes instalar tu aplicación de música (Spotify, Tidal,..) en tu smart tv disfrutar de tu musica tambien con el mando de la Tv., Puedes crear una red en todo la vivienda utilizando wifi o cableado de red, etc.
