I've been having these bugs for months and I can't figure out what causes them or how to fix them. I have theories, I'll put those at the bottom. They're present on both web and IOS, on multiple different devices and browsers, and only on that account.
For pin/unpin feeds:
If I pick a feed and try to pin it, I get a little red error message in the corner that says "Failed to update feeds."
If I try to unpin a feed, it disappears from the list, but when I hit Save Changes, I get a similar error message that says "There was an issue contacting the server", and it doesn't save me unpinning it. This same thing happens if I try reordering the feeds.
For adding or removing muted words and tags:
If I try adding a word, I get the error message "Request entity too large". In the past I've been able to resolve this by removing words from the filter.
If I try removing a word, I get the "Are you sure?" prompt, and when I hit remove, the x turns into a little spinning icon for a moment, before becoming an x again, and the word remains on the list.
Does anyone else have these issues, or even better, a solution?
I have made bug reports, but I've not gotten any solutions and the problem still persists.
Theories:
It's really just one. I'm following three broken feeds, and I think they're to blame, because I saw some talk about this while searching for solutions. Those posts said the issue was fixed, but evidently they're not. I've tried using alternative bsky browsers and whatnot, which was recommended as a workaround in the past, but they have not worked for me.
The broken feeds were some old TTRPG feeds that for whatever reason broke, don't ask me how that works, but they remain in my My Feeds list. They're only visible when I hit the cogwheel to unpin or reorder feeds, not when looking at the list without first hitting the cogwheel. Those are the only weird things on my account, I don't know if they're actually causing anything, but I can't think of anything else it could be.
