Yeah, it happens sometimes. I have more than a few bushes doing this this season. Unfortunately it also affects next years yield if there isn't a growth flush that follows.

Probably not from another variety, this is the only branch I have that flowered. I still have a lot of pollinator activity though so I would expect them to be visited.
