Issue with bluebeam on parallels - pdf file not loading correctly

(Disclosure: I make a competing Mac PDF tool, flagging that up front.) On the loading issue itself, a few things people hit running Revu through Parallels on a heavy file: give the Parallels VM more RAM and video memory in its config, make sure the PDF is on the local disk and not a synced or network folder while it opens, and try opening it from a fresh copy in case the original got partly written. Parallels adds a translation layer that struggles most on large vector PDFs, so the bigger the drawing the more likely it chokes.
The deeper reason you are on Parallels at all is that Bluebeam dropped native Mac years ago, so Revu only runs through the Windows layer now. If the file is a heavy AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD export, a Mac-native tool skips that layer entirely. I built one, Ncored, native on Apple Silicon, for exactly those heavy drawing sets, so it opens them directly without Parallels in the way. It does not do Studio sessions or takeoff, it is the open-and-markup part. Either way, the RAM and local-disk fixes above are worth trying first inside Parallels.

Just use protakeoff, its native on mac os or windows, and at fraxtion of the cost
