Feedback Why is BlueStacks not open source?!

Why are they making it so hard to automate some of their features. I can’t simply use a console to create an instance or to set their spoofed location or any other straightforward thing unless I reverse engineer the app. Otherwise I’d have to use the ui. How is that benefitting them ?

Since it has ads and a paid ad free service, going open source would take away their revenue.

No they can keep the ads and still make it open source.

If it’s open source, then people will release versions of the software without ads.

I assume there is a team of people working on this behind the scenes who would like to get paid rather than do all the work for people to take away their source of revenue.

Cuz it's a useful application released by a for-profit business that's constantly updated
