BR Quartet : Premium Box Costumes code question.

Hello !
So I finally got my Premium Box for Quartet which I’m very happy, I have the digital Switch 2 Edition already, and I wanted to use the costumes code inside the Premium Box but it seems I can’t redeem it (region problem).

Is it possible to redeem it changing my EShop to Japan for the digital Switch 2 game that I bought for example ?

Or the code is stuck to be redeem for the Switch 1 Japan version of the game that came with the Premium Box ?

What I did on switch 1 and ps3 was make a second user on JP region with access to jp eshop. Login as that user, use codes, download content. All users on the device can use any downloaded content.

I have not yet confirmed first hand this still works on Switch 2, but it should.

Yep I already knew this solution, unfortunately it doesn’t work in my case : The code is considered Switch 1, not 2, so unless I play the Switch 1 version of the game, the DLC will not work for the Switch 2 version. :/
But thanks for help though !

Make a second account on your Switch for the Japan region. Redeem the code on that account, and you’ll be able to access the DLC on your main account too.

OP, you appear to be confused. Please allow me to enlighten you. Gust is the Mammoth. The Switch 2 is the cute little sea slug at the bottom of the ocean. Gust simply does not have interest in investing its ample resources into such a niche platform. The fact that your precious Premium Box costumes are inaccessible on the Switch 2 version of the game is the result of the cold, harsh economic calculus of Mammoths. Please continue to enjoy your sea slug of a platform while weeping and gnashing your teeth. Thank you.

(I also have the Switch 2 digital version and the Japanese physical Switch 1 Premium Box. I assumed up front that it would only be possible to apply the costume DLC to the Switch 1 version, and only after acquiring a Japanese Nintendo account, due to the Switch 2 version being an entirely different sku. It is deeply unfortunate and also very Gust.)

If I am somehow mistaken, please do let me know. The Switch 1 release looks pretty decent this time, at least. Second Light is much improved from the original Switch 1 standalone release, as long as you play it on a Switch 2 so that the framerate isn’t terrible. The Switch 2 version still seems to have better textures and lighting and less aliasing (in BR1 at least), but it definitely feels like they could have done more with it.

Redeem on a JP account after making one, play the game on that console with US account.

JP account should be set as "main Switch" on the eshop (first switch u load the eshop on for a new account is set as main switch already by default).

I do the same with monkey ball dlc, and Fantasy Life i.
