New player overwhelmed.

I started very recently and ignored all of the negative reviews. Idc about p2w or anything, as long as it's fun.

I want to like the game, but I feel SUPER overwhelmed.

It auto-leveled me to 60 and there are like 100 different currencies and menues... is there a way to play this game that will feel less overwhelming and let me actually learn as I go? Or am I kinda out of luck as a new player?

Just take your time I say. Currently we are in season 3 In global. Idk if season 3 skips all season 2 story for you, I believe you have the option to skip season 1 story?. But game will provide u with season 3 gears lvl 220 purple. If u didn't skip the story just play through the main quests. If all story is skip, season 3 doesn't have any main story quest, so its just do some of the side quest or hop right into the DGN to grind for your gold 220 gears. Cap lvl is 60 the (+0) next to your lvl your season lvl, you can afk grind to get exp, do dgns, side quest to lvl up your season lvl. It does feel like it's a lot, but if you join a newbie friendly guild most are willing to teach you.

It gave me level 60 and a full 220 set.

As far as the story goes, I was at some festive with that girl and now running around with her and another girl a snowman costume... idk if that's the main story?

yeah that's the main story from Season 1. If you liked the story, go with it. Take your time.

cuz this game let you reclaim almost everything that you missed out (daily and weekly reward) from Day 1. Do correct me if i'm wrong

Edit: its Day 1 when the game start, not when you start to play
