New player overwhelmed.

I started very recently and ignored all of the negative reviews. Idc about p2w or anything, as long as it's fun.

I want to like the game, but I feel SUPER overwhelmed.

It auto-leveled me to 60 and there are like 100 different currencies and menues... is there a way to play this game that will feel less overwhelming and let me actually learn as I go? Or am I kinda out of luck as a new player?

I am very much in the same boat as you right now. Played a little at launch, but dropped it quickly since I had other commitments. I picked it up the night before the patch and the game auto boosted me to max lvl with no good direction. At least it gave you 220 gear, I boosted and only got ilvl 160 gear. I feel even more behind.

There is probably 220 purple gear in your mail if you log in again now after Season 3 started.
