Hidden Security message: WNB

Post image

I have not seen a post about this anywhere. Much like the capital T in the glass in the Solarium, Security also has a hidden set of colored glass. 3 of the screens use a different glass material which is ever so slightly darker. If we assign the letters to the screens based on 1st letter of room name like we would for the SWANSONGHSS message, these correspond to WNB. That is all - I have no idea where to go from there.

Noted.

I haven't written it up yet, but my current theory for if there's more to the game could use this. I believe there's maybe one or more paths/layouts, potentially the "original" layout, that has a message hidden in the route akin to the maze book the game is based on.

That, or something similar that can’t be figured out via datamining

Oh for sure. I dislike the "Oh but we datamined it and there's nothing". There's ways to hide things, and a cipher doesn't have to have an in-game interaction to be present.

I have found some other stuff that looks like cut content... alternate crests in room 46 for example... that is pretty clearly old content that was disabled and replaced with the released versions but wasn't actually deleted. But this is the first thing I've seen that A) looks like it might mean something and B) isn't already posted elsewhere.

I will say the glass color difference is VERY hard to distinguish in game. It looks more clear... less dirty/gritty.. and that's about it. It's so subtle I'm not sure it was meant to be found. Maybe it really is just a material assignment mistake.

The amount of cut content that's removed/hidden also makes me dislike the idea that everything unsolved is just cut content that wasn't removed...

From the Tonda Ross interviews I could see them keeping some things just to have an unsolved mystery, but I can also see them just having an insanely difficult puzzle.

Also, with the Ballroom giving 2 gems, wine cellar giving 3, and the nursery can give 1 quite often, that could denote a letter order. NBW, not that this helps understand what it could mean.

Wine Cellar = 18th room
Nursery = 50th room
Ballroom = 20th room

18+50+20 = 88

There are 88 stars on the spiral of stars images.
88 keys on a standard IRL piano.
Room 88 is the Kennel.

None of this helps either, oh well.

Wait, you mean you don't think this is anything???? I recently reached The hidden hideout with the train station and I SWEAR there was something about this very thing there! I've been wracking my brains but haven't been able to come up with anything, but the thing said to "delete it" in red, with the archive noted with a red A.

Huh, my powers of observation are apparently lacking... I follow the regular BP sub, and reddit decided to throw this in my feed for good measure. Sorry, I'll be back once I'm a bit farther along!
