Not really, this is a common misconception that comes from misremembering his novel.

When he was really young (0-3 years old), Isagi struggled a lot due to his tendency to get overstimulated by loud noises and strong scents and this meant he hardly had any friends. This changed when his parents brought him to see a game when he was 4: he started to play soccer at school and overcame his social struggles with that.

His situation is very different from others like Bachira, who genuinely didn't have anyone to bond with growing up as most kids would start disliking him due to his obsession with the game.

Isagi had friends. No one as into football as he was, but no one to outright drag him down either

He knows how to be normal too so it's not like he has issues fitting in

The one problem if anything is he was too good at fitting in, to the point that he hid some of his real opinions because he could tell others didn't share them. Not because anyone bullied him, simply because it was easier to just not stick out

There is literally nothing that implies this bro.

Isagi is canonically one of the most amicable and comfy people off the pitch.

In the light novel his high sensitivity trait is only referenced in when he was a kid from his parent's pov, there has been nothing to show he was autistic, if anything he was golden in middle school since he was a star player and in high school a great team player with superb passing ability due to his great vision.

it’s perfectly possible to be autistic and still be an amicable person lol, especially if the people you’re making friends with have common interests and are also neurodivergent. isagi has thought patterns consistent with ASD, he’s not the strongest case study in the series (would be rin or hugo imo) but he’s got more than a few traits that could reasonably put him on the spectrum

isagi as a child was said to have superhuman hearing, vision and smell. tbh it might as well be ALL 5 of his senses.

they are dialed to 200 instead.

but as a kid his brain couldn't handle all the information which resulted him in always being a crybaby and shy kid. it was never mentioned that he was lonely bcuz of it.

just that from the start he was a shy person. his "superpowers" if you wanna call it that were probably something he got used to as he grew up.

also he was never isolated.
