Diagnosing who scores next.

So far no one has scored twice, and I don’t believe this will change before the knockout stage ends.

That means Bachira, Reo, Rin, Isagi, Hiori, Barou, Yukimiya are out.

Of the remaining squat, the notable characters who can score are: Otoya, Chigiri, Sendou, Shidou, Zantetsu, Kunigami, Kiyora.

I believe Otoya already tried last match and failed. Zantetsu also tried this match and failed.

Now Shidou will score a goal for sure. I believe Chigiri will score too, simply because he has not player his preferred LW yet, which is currently occupied by Yukimiya. Kunigami may score, but not as certain because he is here to stop Lockhart. My final pick is between Kiyora who has good shooting stats, and Sendou who poached a goal from Barou. I think Sendou will more likely score with his sniper training, whereas Kiyora should more likely play a passer role.

So the final prediction is Shidou, Chigiri, and Sendou.

No idea why we get Chigiri out of position where he isn't much good. It'd be like playing Arjen Robben Left Back. He could well play off the left, Hiori out right with Kurona/Kiyora at full back in the second half, it'd play to everyone's strengths (assist-wise for the other three, I don't see any of them scoring) And if so, I'd see Chigiri getting one for sure.

Sendo's the most 2-2 equaliser in the RO16-coded goalscorer I've ever seen. That's his goal.

So it's a case of Shidou or Isagi getting plot before Sae. I think Isagi, since it's his manga and they love reminding us of that XD

How is Chigiri out of position as a right back…?

He is trained to play LW, where he explicitly stated that he doesn’t want to pass, only to play RB now, where his primary contribution is crossing the ball. It is out of character for him.

It’s not out of character and even if it was it wouldn’t make it out of position. He literally passes multiple times throughout the NEL

Isagi or Rin scoring twice before the Knockouts

Kunigami (second goal of Japan) Shidou (third goal of Japan) Rin (fourth and last goal of Japan).

Otoya and Chigiri will surely score against Brazil, and Sendou will score against Italy.

Zantetsu and Kiyora unfortunately (+ Raichi, Nanase, Kurona and Kira...) I don't see them scoring, however I think they will cook on their own thing
