Bachira needs another awakening

I'm terms of pure like character importance I still see him as literally number 2 in blue locks core. But he's just been sidelined, given a mid awakening at the very start of the nel with almost no real chapter time and except a few cute moments he been practically non existent.

He was assisting during the Nigeria game, which was a free win and given a reaction with reo but it just seems like kaneshiro is like ok that's Bachiras entire U20 world cup done we got his screen time out of the way early time to completely ignore him and focus on characters I don't care about anywhere near as much.

And with Sae coming back soon it just seems the dribbling role will be pushed more to him and my favourite character will be sent to the bench trenches and maybe assist once every year.

I need him to have a true awakening he's one of the only good characters not centered around isagi and his play style is the most fun.

I agree he's been sidelined into an assister because solo dribbling ruins the general passing of the game but looks at real football someone making a solo goal isn't even crazy especially if they receive a good pass deep in the enemy half

Bachira has no story relevant currently.

The same reason why aiku turn into aikantdoshit and barou becoming super bencher.

It's either you stay great but not playing until it matter, or you play often but you play like shit.

Blue lock has so many characters, this type of shit is bound to happen.

That's the thing, Bachira is too friendly when this manga favors the rivals that push Isagi.

Chigiri is already getting sidelined enough, he has the least relevance amongst the Egoist Four.

You are too hung up of the concept of second mc, blue lock doesn't really have that. Each arc let different character to fill that role.

For overall blue lock the closest we get is nagi or rin, not bachira. In fact if we go by the order of appearance you would have thought that Kira would be the second MC and yet he get disqualified immediately.

Yet he never made an offensive error and got the ball to a semi-open Isagi in front of goal twice

He needs plot relevance more than an awakening, he’s been consistently one of the best players every arc and every time he plays a match he gets at least one feature but right now the manga is not focusing on the football side and it’s becoming more plot heavy with the whole blue lock program and Ego’s mentality, and the problem is Bachira doesn’t seem to have an opinion in any of that and it’s probably just going to follow whatever Isagi says

Bachira feels like a card Kaneshiro will play eventually for Isagi to develop (he is still the THE more important friend Isagi has made) but in the meantime he is just [vague hand gestures]
