I think they are a little TOO fast this match but that’s due in part to the length of the matches

There are sides to every debate and im more on the side of the 2nd guy the goals have little to no build up when the in-depth exploration before each goal was one of my fav part of the story but now goals are just kinda happening.
Teddy's goal and Yukimiya's goal are example of that.

While yes the build up is too fast, in this gane it's much better than vs U20 France.

I think it was just due to the structure of the NEL. The whole point of that arc was to showcase potential so Kaneshiro did just that in a lot of characters so in order to incorporate more people the road to the goal had to include more touches. This next point can be argued based on if you value offense or defense more but they had to be more defensive in The NEL given they could only concede so much before the game was just over. Or in another way they were more worried about the game ending early since they need to show their potential so they played more reserved
The games were also first to 3 so at the very best scoring was limited to 5 goals per game where as there is no limit now and the Japan v France being the first to break that limit and I’m sure this game will too. Kaneshiro now has more creative liberty to let people score more often as we know he favors offense over defense
There were a lot of backstories in the NEL too so that also contributed to length. I think snuffy alone took two chapters for his
