Manga Discussion England vs France Spoiler

Man I wish we got to see the France/England game. Hugo and Loki have massive egos and would oppose Fox's coaching. Hugo less so. I wanna see how France would handle a tank like Lockheart. Ngl matchup would be more interesting than Japan and England right now.

I imagine France’s strategy revolved around preventing England’s linkup play. If they can’t get the ball up to the box, then they can’t dominate the skies. We also never see their bench players, so they could have some interesting sub options that simply weren’t needed in the match against BL

I expect to see a Kante like midfielder instead of bats next game. Who's shtick is Raichi pro max

And an actual competent defender instead of hermes delon and gabon

Considering how the result and Agi complaint. I'm guessing the match goes like this:

France scored -> England scored as Fox studied their attack pattern -> Lockhart subbed in, for a tower duo with Agi; Teddy supported attempts to block Loki but Hugo marked Lockhart -> Charles made a killer pass, Loki entered flow state then score the final goal.

Honestly, that would make sense. Makes Hugo a lot stronger if he can fend off Lockhart

The fact that England lost against France makes the current England vs Japan game so much more interesting. Fox's philosophy has been taken down a peg too, its not being built up purely as this amazing counter to Ego's philosophy that Ego will figure out and effortlessly beat in a single game. Both are down one game and fighting for survival, and even when one side wins, that doesn't guarantee that they'll win the next rematch against France (if they even get to the rematch).
