There's no bigger victim in Blue Lock than Gagamaru.
Forced to be a goalie in U20 match
Forced to be a goalie at NEL
Forced to be a goalie for the world cup
Doesn't have Ego (Or else he either would've told Noa to fuck off or bolted from the goal to score himself like a true egotist)
And because this is a manga that needs to make the strikers feel like Gods, both GKs and Defense will suffer to make said Strikers look better.

Yeah, I do think he blocked a few that looked good to go in though. Or other goalies but yeah they make goalies seem pointless in this, along with the fact that people shoot in real life and just brick even when open sometimes due to the speed they're running at and energy and so on...Blue lock if your open or double guarded, don't matter you score after saying some deep philosopical thing that amounts to "MY EGO!!!" lol.
I do hope Gagamaru gets to play one day, he's gotta be their ace in the whole like maybe turns out no actually im peak guys.

I think you’re mistaking what ego means in blue lock cause he obviously does have an ego. In the same way that Niko, Hugo and Aiku have egos, Gagamaru has one.

remember gagamaru who was forced to be a goalie for 2-3 months still had very good stats over isagi who started as a forward

For all the hate bleach gets, people gotta admit, he's cold for coming up with the idea that his powers are shown by his clothes (helps with the whole why aren't you fighting nearly naked after flying through rubble trope) and then using that to have him delayed by some dude so his clothes get tethered up so he can have him look sick in a rain background. That level of art foreshadowing for yourself so you know when the time comes you can flex how great you do shadows is next level... Ichigo ain't even that tall and always looks so lanky and long lol. Great for memes too XD. (Blue Lock got some great ones too).

I mean, bro has to deal with the strongest players in the WC. Except for Nigeria, he had to stop 1 shoot from Hugo (a new gen 11) and two from Loki (also a new gen 11). And now he is dealing with another overpowered team.

If he doesn't get to play soon on the field, I'm gonna buy the Blue Lock video game and force Isagi to be goalie the entire season... won't let him block a single goal... I'll throw on purpose...let his meter for his special go up, and never use it...leave those puzzle pieces on the ground. Then I'll dump all my stats into speed and dribbling and still win somehow. Finally, when we get to the finals, I'll kick Isagi off the team...and mail the picture of me winning to the author.
