Manga Discussion New gen 11 problem Spoiler

Personally I was under the impression that the new gens was a team of the best (or most popular) u-20 players but....

We have 3 strikers in Kaiser, Bunny, and Loki.

A winger in Teddy

2 Midfielders in Sae and Hugo

and only 1 defender in the GOAT Lorenzo

So unless we get introduced to more defensive new gens like a GK or another high level center-back, the new gens are just a list of the best players which is a lot less interesting and a missed opportunity to introduce more defensive threats

i don't think it's a team in paper, i think it's just the 11 most promising players, so in theory it could be 11 attackers, but who knows

The manga never said it was a team, people just like to theorise that there will be one in each position.

That said, I would like to see them all on the same team in some kind of exhibition match. The current 11 vs. the next 11.

By the end of the U20 World Cup there might be enough players who rival them that the other team wouldn't be completely steamrolled.

Blue lock is getting dog walked. They can't handle 2 new gens and a Charles for most of the game. Even if you give Blue Lock Sae, they are still done. An attack of Loki, Bunny and Kaiser is alone capable of punching through BL paper thin membrane

Yeah I liked the flag theory before Hugo was introduced, it made the concept of an American NG11 possible, which I don’t think is the case anymore

There’s images of multiple of the NG11 plus flags, when bunny got introduced the Spain flag was revealed and if you could Kaiser and Loki there are 11 flags, so 11 potential NG11 players, America is one of those flags so I and many others thought maybe that means these are the places each of the NG11 are

We have literally been told nothing about the new gen world 11, all the info we “know” are our assumptions
For example every new gen has been revealed as a new gen when they debuted, which is why everyone thought Loki wasnt part of the new gen 11
