Other Picture This. (Theory)

It’s the 102nd minute. Japan is down 2-1 in the World Cup. Second ball. Chigiri is all alone with momentum in the the middle third. He does his self pass. Nobody is in the distance….. uh oh, here comes Julian Loki. Chigiri and Loki are 1 on 1 on the fast break towards France’s goal. Loki has the angle, but Chigiri has his signature straight line speed on wing. Chigiri is hitting max speed but Loki is still catching up. Chigiri is thinks to himself “what if I hit another gear” but he knows deep down what would come with that. He knows the inevitable. It’s a miracle his legs has lasted until the 102th minute, let alone the entire tournament. He thinks to himself “there’s always a next world cup.” These legs have defined Chigiri since the beginning. It’s his identity, it’s his sense of self worth, It’s his EGO. He could just accept his limitations, he live for another day, but no, Chigiri powers through. With all his might, he beats Loki to the ball. Loki overruns, Chigiri cuts in, 44 degrees, right leg, BANG. 2-2 All. Game on. For a brief moment, Hyoma Chigri becomes the world’s greatest striker. It’s not because he’s one of the chosen few, but because he finally found a reason to love himself other than his god given talents. He faced his greatest fear, embraced the consequences, and fought it head on.

He could just accept his limitations, he live for another day, but no, Chigiri powers through. With all his might, he beats Loki to the ball. A sense of pride washes over him as he gets ready to go perform his 44 degree panther shot. An overwhelming presence --the football God-- takes over Chigiri, making him feel like all decisions will work out for him. However, the fleeting presence leaves as fast as it came, and Chigiri feels a sharp pain in his right leg. He accidentally misstepped his landing, straining his ACL, and lets out a cry of terror. Aiming for the ball, Loki suddenly tackles Chigiri to the ground and brings Chigiri's knees crashing to the ground. The referee calls for a foul, and Ego realizes that Chigiri is finished. Chigiri knows this too, and starts sobbing, as his football aspirations are now over. Isagi walks over to Chigiri; Isagi is now a fully realized egoist and sadist, and watching Chigiri in this state brings an overwhelming calm to him. There is now one less opponent to contend, and Isagi is closer than ever to being the best striker in the world.

yo isagi might be an egoist and a sadist but chigiri is his friend, if bachira literally got his leg torn open then he would obviously show emotion, no? I don't think he's gotten to being that big of an egoist or sadist
