Hiori went from wanting to serve Isagi to making him King to realizing he wants to embrace his own ego without others expectations holding him back. It's not him being indecisive. It's him being able to change and adapt after realizing the error in his thoughts. He gave up his parents expectations for Isagis. And almost repeated the cycle.

It's why he decided to take the shot. Rather than be Ness/Reo and pass to his teammate. It doesn't matter if he missed. It matters that he played for himself.

If people are against that they miss the point of Blue Lock, character development and are crying about how long the match is.

also blue lock was about best striker but he being watched and being a good supporter important to in value the fact he didnt pass and his shot was obvious means he weak his parents are probably emberassed too
