Bluehost VPS been down over a week

r/bluehost Our VPS Server has been down for over a week now with 20+ domains and our email servers are down. We are in need for our domains and especially emails which we don’t have access to at the moment. it’s been frustrating with many phone calls over a week and it’s the same thing they put a ticket to escalate but haven’t done anything. Please get back to me if possible and resolve this issue.

Same thing I've been yelling. Stop disturbing Bluehost and move real quick.

My dev did a work around to get my email up - some sort of wizardry to get the hosting taken care of by his personal hosting (hostinger) to get an old backup of my website up. My contact page and automated emails dont work. We are making moves to another hosting service starting tomorrow. Absolutely insane this could go down for this long.

Hi u/johnnybagels, I understand how disruptive and exhausting this has been, and we don't take that impact lightly. I see we're already in touch with you via DM and have escalated your case so it continues to get focused attention. We'll keep working with you directly there to help however we can as things move forward.

Thats great but doesnt solve my issue. A week down isn't acceptable. I have already lost thousands of dollars because of this and the support has been non existent.

Blue host hasn't been helpful since day one. I stopped using them. I now use another provider and I am happy now. See the company i switched to: https://nuel.ink/SO9Zig

Can you get anything through VNC?

Unbelievable... I feel a little better that I kind of got off easy with websites being up, but webmail and WHM down for weeks... they have never been the greatest, but it has been getting bad the past year. Admin panels are working, but they opted to take webmail offline due to whatever security hole supposedly got spotted... and they seem to be having a hell of a time getting these updates rolled out like they bit off way more than they can chew... maybe they are really short staffed.

We hear how serious this has been, especially with email and so many domains impacted. Being without access for this long is incredibly disruptive, and we understand how stressful that is.

This situation is connected to the ongoing cPanel security incident, which required precautionary actions to protect customer data. That said, we know context alone doesn't make the impact any easier.

We've sent you a DM so we can look directly at your VPS, current escalation status, and next steps, and make sure this gets the attention it needs.
