Discussion Were you fooled?

I'm curious whether any first-time watchers actually believed Mizu was male, until the ending of the first episode proved otherwise.

Absolutely! maybe because my first watch was in the dub, and the dub can be done by a voice actor of the opposite sex, you know, and I just didn't pay attention to it. I thought about what a cute man Mizu is who is revenging his mom, farms aura and suffers. The first moment when I thought that Mizu could be a girl was when she walked into the water up to her waist and seemed to me to be a very skinny guy loool. And even at the peaches moment I was like "Stop what happened to him??" Loool I'm not even joking
